What You’ll Be Doing
- Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability
- Draft, review, and negotiate supplier contracts and purchase agreements
- Collaborate closely with department heads to anticipate and fulfill procurement needs
- Monitor and track inventory levels, placing timely orders to prevent disruptions
- Maintain accurate procurement records, from purchase orders to supplier evaluations
- Resolve supplier performance issues in partnership with quality and operations teams
- Stay updated on market trends, pricing fluctuations, and alternative products
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and any relevant regulatory guidelines
