What You’ll Be Doing

  • Sourcing high-quality building and road construction materials while balancing cost, quality, and delivery timelines
  • Negotiating with local and international suppliers to secure the best terms and value for every order
  • Obtaining and evaluating competitive quotations, making recommendations based on both numbers and relationships
  • Working closely with the project and warehouse teams to forecast needs and ensure timely stock availability
  • Keeping supplier records updated and managing ongoing vendor relationships with professionalism and tact
  • Identifying new suppliers and alternative materials as market dynamics shift—bringing fresh ideas to the table
  • Driving company vehicles as needed for supplier meetings or urgent material pickups (yes, your UAE license will come in handy)
  • Staying current on industry trends and market pricing to inform smarter purchasing decisions

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves:

  • Previous procurement experience, ideally within building materials, road construction, or the broader construction sector
  • A valid UAE driving license (occasional travel around Abu Dhabi/Mussafah is part of the job)
  • Proven negotiation chops and supplier relationship skills
  • Ability to source, compare, and recommend materials that match our quality standards

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Familiarity with local suppliers in Abu Dhabi or neighboring Emirates
  • Strong English (and/or Arabic) communication skills
