What You’ll Be Doing
- Craft and assemble kitchens, wardrobes, doors, and decorative woodwork based on client specifications.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and plans to ensure precision and quality in every project.
- Operate modern carpentry machinery and hand tools with both efficiency and care.
- Work closely with our installation team to fit furniture and fixtures on-site, ensuring everything aligns perfectly.
- Inspect finished work for accuracy, durability, and Empress Gardens' signature attention to detail.
- Suggest materials and solutions for unique design challenges, keeping both aesthetics and functionality in mind.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Asian nationality (as per role requirements).
- At least 3 years of hands-on carpentry and furniture manufacturing experience.
- Skilled in using both traditional and modern carpentry tools (think saws, routers, sanders, and beyond).
- Confidence in executing a variety of woodwork styles, from classic to contemporary, including kitchens, wardrobes, doors, and custom decorations.
- Ability to work efficiently, handle deadlines, and communicate clearly with teammates.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with CNC machines or advanced woodworking equipment.
- Creativity in solving on-site installation or construction challenges.
