About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Introduction
Are you someone who can spot discrepancies in invoices from a mile away? Do you get a certain satisfaction from watching a project tally up exactly as planned? If you’re an experienced Quantity Surveyor (QS) ready to join the fast-paced world of interior design, this could be the perfect next step. We’re a creative and growing interior design company in the heart of Mohammed Bin Zayed City, Abu Dhabi — and right now, we’re looking for a QS with the technical know-how to keep our projects running smoothly and efficiently.
About the Company
Picture a team where designers, architects, and project managers come together not just to finish a job, but to leave a lasting impression on Abu Dhabi’s spaces. We’ve carved out a reputation for quality, reliability, and a dash of bold creativity in every project we take on — from boutique hotels to luxury residences. While our standards are high, our hierarchy is flat: ideas flow as freely as our office coffee, and Friday afternoons tend to end in impromptu design critiques (and maybe a snack or two). Here, everyone’s contribution counts.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Preparing accurate cost estimates and bills of quantities using PlanSwift or AutoCAD — whatever helps you work best
- Analyzing drawings, specifications, and tender documents to scope out requirements and catch any ambiguities early
- Liaising with designers, project managers, and procurement to make sure your numbers reflect what’s actually being built
- Managing and tracking project budgets throughout the entire project lifecycle (crunching numbers and spotting gaps as you go)
- Measuring completed works on-site to prepare payment applications and verify contractor invoices
- Staying current with supplier rates and market trends, sometimes even haggling for that little bit of extra value
- Preparing and submitting detailed progress reports to stakeholders — clarity matters here
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- At least 3 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within interior fit-out or construction
- Solid proficiency in either PlanSwift or AutoCAD (bonus points if you use both comfortably)
- Strong attention to detail — double checks are second nature
- Confident communication skills, both on paper and in person
- Willingness to work from our office in Mohammed Bin Zayed City, with occasional site visits
Nice-to-Haves:
- Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or similar
- Familiarity with local Abu Dhabi suppliers and contract standards
- Experience working in multicultural teams or on fast-paced interior fit-out projects
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive salary, always paid on time

- Office tucked conveniently in Shabiya 10, with easy access and on-site parking
- Support for ongoing training or certifications in your field
