What You’ll Be Doing
- Oversee and coordinate daily site activities for aluminum and glass installations — you’ll be the go-to problem solver on the ground.
- Supervise and mentor a crew of site workers, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency on every project.
- Review technical drawings and specifications, turning plans for doors, windows, partitions, curtain walls, handrails, and shopfront systems into real-world results.
- Collaborate closely with project managers and suppliers to ensure all materials, tools, and timelines stay on track.
- Deliver hands-on guidance during tricky installs — sometimes you’ll jump in to demonstrate a technique or troubleshoot a fitting.
- Inspect completed work for finish and structural standards before sign-off, making sure our projects live up to their promise.
- Keep daily records and site logs, helping the team learn (and improve) with every job.
- Drive between sites as needed to keep schedules running smoothly — a valid license comes in handy!
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- At least 5 years of direct experience with aluminum and glass works.
- Deep knowledge of fabricating and installing aluminum doors & windows, curtain walls, glass partitions, handrails, and shopfront systems.
- Proven ability to supervise crews and juggle multiple site activities.
- Good communication skills — you know how to keep instructions clear and spirits high.
- Valid UAE driving license (or close to getting one).
Nice-to-Haves:
- Ability to read architectural and fabrication drawings with confidence.
- Experience with troubleshooting or unusual site conditions — you don't sweat the small stuff.
- Working knowledge of Arabic or other languages spoken on-site.
