About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Sales & Leasing Agent — Al Sharq Real Estate, Ajman Corniche

Ever walked past the towers along Ajman Corniche and wondered who actually connects those gleaming apartments with the people living in them? That’s the job — and right now, Al Sharq Real Estate is looking for young, driven men to join the team that makes it happen. Real estate in Ajman is moving fast, and leasing and sales agents are the engine behind every signed contract. If you’ve got the gift of gab, a sharp eye for detail, and the hunger to close deals, this could be your seat at the table.

About Al Sharq Real Estate

Al Sharq Real Estate has built its name as a leader in the local property market, and the office sits right on Ajman Corniche — which means sea views, walkable neighborhoods, and listings that practically sell themselves. The team here is young, competitive in a healthy way, and genuinely invested in each other’s success. It’s the kind of place where a strong month gets noticed, and a great idea gets tried out the same week.

This isn’t a cubicle-and-clock-in kind of company. Agents work from the headquarters together, share leads, trade tips, and learn the market in real time. If you’re early in your career and want to grow fast, you’ll be surrounded by people who’ve done exactly that.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Meet with walk-in clients and follow up on leads for both sales and leasing inquiries
  • Show apartments, villas, and commercial units to prospective tenants and buyers — and yes, you’ll get very good at reading a room
  • Prepare and negotiate lease agreements and sales contracts, making sure every detail is airtight
  • List properties across real estate marketing platforms and keep those listings fresh, accurate, and appealing
  • Build a client base the old-fashioned way: follow up, stay in touch, and earn referrals
  • Coordinate with landlords, property owners, and internal teams to keep deals moving smoothly
  • Stay on top of Ajman market trends, pricing, and new developments — knowledge is your best sales tool

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves:

  • Excellent communication and persuasion skills — you can hold a conversation and steer it toward a yes
  • Comfortable using computers and real estate marketing platforms (Bayut, Dubizzle, or similar)
  • A good, professional appearance — you’re the face of the company when you walk into a viewing
  • Self-motivated and ready to work from the Ajman Corniche headquarters
  • Fluency in Arabic and/or English; additional languages are a real plus with Ajman’s diverse clientele

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Prior experience in real estate, retail sales, or customer service
  • Basic knowledge of Ajman’s neighborhoods and property landscape
  • A valid UAE driving license

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you — drive and people skills matter more here than a perfect resume.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Prime location: Work from the company headquarters on Ajman Corniche — no long commute to Dubai, no cramped back office
  • Real earning potential: Competitive commission structure that rewards effort directly — your income grows with your hustle
  • Training and mentorship: Learn the market from experienced agents who’ve closed hundreds of deals
  • Team culture: A young, energetic crew that celebrates wins together and backs each other up on tough days
  • Growth path: Start in leasing, grow into sales, and build a career in one of the UAE’s most active property markets

If you’ve been looking for a role where effort translates directly into results — and where you’re surrounded by people who actually want you to succeed — this is it. Come see the office, meet the team, and find out what you’re capable of.

Common Interview Questions and Tips

To help you prepare and feel confident, here are some questions you might encounter during the interview process for this role.

  • Walk me through how you'd handle a walk-in client who's interested in both leasing and buying — how do you figure out which path actually fits them?
  • Which real estate marketing platforms have you worked with before, and what does your process look like for keeping a listing fresh and getting it noticed?
  • A landlord wants a price that's clearly above market for a unit on the Corniche. How would you approach that conversation without losing the listing or wasting weeks?
  • When you're preparing a lease agreement or sales contract, what details do you double-check before it goes to signing?
  • How do you stay current on Ajman rental rates and new developments, and how does that knowledge actually show up in your conversations with clients?
  • Tell me about a time you had to persuade someone who was on the fence — what did you say or do, and how did it end?
  • Describe a situation where a deal fell apart at the last minute. What happened, and what did you take away from it?
  • You've got five leads to follow up on and two viewings scheduled in the same afternoon. How do you decide what gets your attention first?
  • Think about a time a client or customer was unhappy with you. How did you handle it, and what did you do differently afterward?
  • This role is commission-based and the pace can swing from quiet to hectic. What keeps you motivated during a slow stretch?
  • The team here shares leads and trades tips openly. How do you feel about working that way versus keeping your own pipeline close?
  • What draws you to working on Ajman Corniche specifically, and where do you see yourself in this market two or three years from now?

Market-Based Salary Overview and Analysis

For an entry-level sales and leasing agent role like this in Ajman, similar positions usually offer a base salary of around 3,000 to 4,500 AED per month, with commission often making up a significant part of total earnings. Since this is a commission-driven role at a local real estate office, you should expect a modest base and treat your OTE (on-target earnings) as the real number — strong performers in Ajman's leasing market can realistically push total monthly income to 6,000–10,000 AED or more once deals start closing. If you have prior real estate or sales experience, don't hesitate to ask for the upper end of that base range, and always clarify the commission structure and payment terms before signing.
