What You’ll Be Doing
- Greeting patients and visitors in person with a warm, courteous manner
- Managing appointment schedules — from booking to follow-ups — using our clinic’s digital systems
- Answering and directing phone calls to the right departments or individuals without missing a beat
- Handling patient check-ins and documentation, ensuring smooth and timely processing
- Assisting with insurance forms, billing inquiries, and basic front-desk administrative work
- Keeping the reception area tidy, welcoming, and well-stocked with informational materials
- Coordinating with medical staff to support urgent requests and efficient patient flow
- Providing clear directions and addressing queries with patience and empathy
- Occasionally jumping in to help with special tasks or projects — because teamwork is key!
What You’ll Bring (Qualifications)
Must-Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related course or similar field
- At least 2 years of experience as a receptionist, admin, or in a customer service role — ideally within a medical center or healthcare/IT environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English required; Arabic a big plus!)
- A genuinely presentable and professional demeanor
- Strong organizational skills — juggling multiple priorities comes naturally to you
- Comfort using appointment or records management software
Nice-to-Haves:
- Prior work in Abu Dhabi or familiarity with local healthcare standards
- Experience handling sensitive or confidential information
- A flair for problem-solving when unexpected situations arise
