About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Ever thought about being the friendly face that makes someone’s day a little brighter — and a little easier? As our new Receptionist at a busy Abu Dhabi medical center, you’ll be just that: the welcoming first point of contact for patients and visitors. This isn’t just a desk job; it’s your chance to build connections in a place where every detail matters, and every greeting is truly appreciated. If you’re passionate about helping others, organized, and love the vibrant energy of a healthcare setting, you might be exactly who we’re looking for.

About the Company

Nestled in the heart of Abu Dhabi, our medical center is something of a local landmark. We’re a fast-growing team made up of healthcare professionals (and a few coffee aficionados!) who truly care about the patient experience. Our days tend to buzz — sometimes literally, when the last-minute appointment calls come in. What ties us together? A shared spirit of excellence, a knack for teamwork, and a genuine belief that compassionate support is as vital as clinical expertise. We celebrate milestones together and always try to find a moment for laughter, even on the busier days.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Greeting patients and visitors in person with a warm, courteous manner
  • Managing appointment schedules — from booking to follow-ups — using our clinic’s digital systems
  • Answering and directing phone calls to the right departments or individuals without missing a beat
  • Handling patient check-ins and documentation, ensuring smooth and timely processing
  • Assisting with insurance forms, billing inquiries, and basic front-desk administrative work
  • Keeping the reception area tidy, welcoming, and well-stocked with informational materials
  • Coordinating with medical staff to support urgent requests and efficient patient flow
  • Providing clear directions and addressing queries with patience and empathy
  • Occasionally jumping in to help with special tasks or projects — because teamwork is key!

What You’ll Bring (Qualifications)

Must-Haves:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related course or similar field
  • At least 2 years of experience as a receptionist, admin, or in a customer service role — ideally within a medical center or healthcare/IT environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English required; Arabic a big plus!)
  • A genuinely presentable and professional demeanor
  • Strong organizational skills — juggling multiple priorities comes naturally to you
  • Comfort using appointment or records management software

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Prior work in Abu Dhabi or familiarity with local healthcare standards
  • Experience handling sensitive or confidential information
  • A flair for problem-solving when unexpected situations arise

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

Why You’ll Love Working Here (Benefits & Perks)

  • Supportive colleagues who know teamwork goes beyond the job description
  • Competitive salary and benefits package tailored to your experience
  • Opportunities for professional development and growth within the center
  • Modern, light-filled workspace right in Abu Dhabi city
  • Access to staff wellness programs and health initiatives
  • Flexible scheduling options for work-life balance
  • A culture that truly values your voice — and wins are always shared

At our medical center, your daily work has lasting impact. If you’re ready to join a caring, energetic team, we think you’ll feel right at home with us.
