About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Introduction
Are you the kind of person who feels energized by meeting new people, keeping things running smoothly, and bringing a warm, welcoming energy to a room? Our luxury gents salon in Mamzar, Dubai is on the lookout for an experienced female receptionist/cashier ready to become the face of our business. In this role, you’ll help set the tone for every guest’s visit — and play an essential part in the seamless day-to-day flow of our team. If you have a knack for organization and a genuine flair for hospitality, this could be the place for you.
About the Company
Step inside our salon and you’ll immediately sense that we’re more than just a place for a sharp haircut or relaxing shave — we’re a destination where quality, comfort, and community meet. Our clients appreciate impeccable service and a refined touch, and we pride ourselves on attention to detail at every level, from lush interiors to the complimentary espresso at our front desk. The team here is friendly without being overbearing, supportive, and always keen to grow together. We celebrate small wins (like when a first-time guest becomes a loyal regular), and we’re constantly on the lookout for ways to make the client experience even better.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Cheerfully greet and welcome every guest as they arrive — you’re the first impression, and you’ll make it a great one.
- Clearly explain our full range of salon services, packages, and any current promotions, making sure clients feel valued and informed.

- Coordinate client bookings and manage appointment schedules, keeping both stylists and clients in the loop.
- Answer phone and WhatsApp inquiries promptly and professionally, offering assistance or guidance as needed.
- Tidy and maintain the reception area, keeping things organized and inviting.
- Pitch in with various administrative tasks, from daily record-keeping to liaising with suppliers.
- Spot opportunities to create memorable moments for clients — whether that’s offering a drink or simply remembering a returning guest’s name.
What You’ll Bring
- At least 2 years’ experience in a customer-facing role, ideally as a receptionist or cashier (bonus if it’s in beauty, hospitality, or retail).
- Strong organizational skills — you thrive on keeping things in order and nothing slips through the cracks.
- A genuinely outgoing, positive attitude — you see each guest as an opportunity to make someone’s day better.
- Clear, polite communication skills in English (other languages are always a plus).
- Confidence with basic computer systems and point-of-sale software.
- Preference will be given to candidates who are residents with an NOC in UAE.
- Presentable appearance and a professional, respectful approach.
Not sure you meet every single requirement? We’d still love to get to know you!
