About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Introduction

Ever wondered what it’s like to be the heartbeat of a buzzing office in the heart of Business Bay? As our new Receptionist, you’ll be the welcoming face and voice of the company—the person who sets the tone the moment a visitor steps through the door or calls in. If you thrive on connecting with people, keeping things organized, and love the energy of a fast-paced environment (where no two days are ever quite alike), this might just be your perfect next move.

About the Company

Nestled in Dubai’s dynamic Business Bay, our team is a lively group that values professionalism, warmth, and a can-do attitude. We’re a growing business known for our collaborative spirit and friendly atmosphere (don’t be surprised if you’re invited for an impromptu coffee run or a midweek brainstorming session in our comfy breakout space). Here, everyone plays a part in shaping our guest experience, and front desk excellence is something we genuinely celebrate.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Warmly greet and assist visitors, ensuring every guest feels welcome and comfortable
  • Answer, screen, and route phone calls and emails promptly—never letting a detail slip through the cracks
  • Maintain daily appointment schedules and coordinate meeting room bookings, keeping everyone on time and informed
  • Track all visitors by managing logs and front desk records with accuracy and confidentiality
  • Handle all incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail, packages, and couriers
  • Support coordination between various departments to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Keep the reception area tidy, organized, and stocked with essentials (sometimes it’s the little things that matter most)
  • Jump in to assist with occasional administrative tasks or special requests—because teamwork is at the core of what we do

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves

  • Friendly, professional, and polished communication skills (both in person and over the phone)
  • Fluent in English; additional languages always a plus given our diverse visitors
  • Proven experience in a receptionist or front-of-house role (ideally in a business or hospitality setting)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Competency in Microsoft Office and common office technology (think printers, phone systems, etc.)
  • Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure

Nice-to-Haves

  • Previous experience in a Dubai-based office environment
  • Familiarity with visitor management systems or appointment software
  • A knack for anticipating needs and solving problems before they arise

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Competitive salary that recognizes your front-line impact
  • Convenient location in Business Bay, easily accessible by public transit
  • Supportive, friendly team who believes in celebrating milestones (from birthdays to business wins)
  • Room to grow; we invest in training and professional development
  • Bright, modern office space—plus unlimited coffee and occasional team lunches
  • Regular team-building activities and a company culture that genuinely values your input

We’re not just looking for someone to sit behind the desk—we’re looking for someone who brings energy, warmth, and a sense of ownership to everything they do. If that sounds like you, you’ll fit right in.
