About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever thought about being the welcoming face and calming presence that holds an office together? We’re looking for a Receptionist to join our energetic team in Deira, Dubai—a role that’s as much about people as it is about organization. Whether you’re greeting visitors, managing appointments, or ensuring everything at the front desk hums along smoothly, you’re essential to keeping our operations seamless. In a city that never stops growing, reception is more than a support function—it’s the heartbeat of our everyday business.
About the Company
We’re a well-established recruitment company with a passion for connecting ambitious professionals with the right opportunities. Our Dubai office is a lively hub—think friendly colleagues, quick banter by the coffee machine, and a steady stream of people throughout the day. We value professionalism, a dash of humor, and a commitment to keeping things running without a hitch. Fridays sometimes come with team treats, and we always make time for a birthday cake (or two). If you enjoy working where every day is a little different, we think you’ll feel right at home.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Greeting visitors and making them feel welcome the moment they step through the door.
- Answering incoming calls, routing messages, and handling general inquiries with warmth and clarity.
- Managing appointment schedules for the team—no double-bookings on your watch!
- Keeping the reception area tidy, organized, and always guest-ready.
- Supporting basic office administration (think handling mail, basic record-keeping, and helping with meeting room bookings).
- Pitching in wherever your sharp organizational eye is needed—occasionally supporting team projects or events.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Experience as a receptionist or in a similar front-desk, administrative, or customer service role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Arabic is a bonus.
- Welcoming demeanor—professional, friendly, and always ready to help.
- Solid organizational skills, with the ability to juggle several tasks without missing a beat.
- Confidence using phone systems, calendars, and basic computer applications.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Familiarity with Dubai’s business environment or previous reception work in the UAE.
- Additional languages.
- Knowledge of office equipment (printers, scanners, etc.).
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive salary (AED 3000 – 4000, based on your experience)
- Visa sponsorship and medical insurance coverage
- Accommodation allowance as per UAE labor law
- Supportive, multicultural team that looks out for one another
- Opportunities to learn new skills and be the linchpin of our office flow
- Lively work environment in the heart of Deira—never a dull moment!
We know reception is more than just a desk—it’s where people turn for answers, directions, and a friendly smile. If that sounds like you, we can’t wait to meet you.
