About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Introduction
Ever wondered what it’s like to be the smiling face (and friendly voice) that keeps a business running smoothly? As our Receptionist, you’ll be the go-to person in our Liwan laundry shop—the first hello, the organizer of chaos, and the extra dose of reassurance that every customer and colleague needs. In a city as bustling as Dubai, being that vital connection matters. If you’re hoping for a role where each day brings a new conversation and a fresh set of challenges, this could be your perfect fit.
About the Company
Behind the steamy whirl of our washing machines, you’ll find a small, tight-knit team that takes pride in brightening our customers’ day—one pressed shirt or laundered linen at a time. Our company has been serving Liwan locals and beyond for years, earning a reputation not just for spotless laundry, but for memorable, reliable service. We keep things casual but professional; we even swap stories over tea on slow days and always look out for one another during busy stretches. Here, attention to detail isn’t just a policy—it’s our personality.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Greet every customer with warmth (and sometimes by name), whether in person or on the phone
- Handle booking and coordinating laundry orders—making sure nothing gets misplaced or forgotten
- Process transactions using our POS system and keep records up-to-date, the right way
- Answer routine customer questions, settle small issues, or escalate them to the right person if needed
- Keep the reception and waiting area tidy—after all, first impressions count!
- Support your teammates when they need an extra hand, especially during rush hours
- Help with basic admin tasks like data entry and inventory updates to keep things on track
What You’ll Bring

- Reliability: You show up on time, every time
Nice-to-Haves:
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in another customer-facing job
- Knowledge of a second language (Arabic is a bonus)
