About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Introduction
Ever thought about being the face of a local business that keeps Dubai looking sharp? We're searching for a friendly Receptionist to join our hardworking team in Liwan. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for customers bringing new life to their favorite outfits—and you’ll help orchestrate the daily flow of a fast-paced laundry company that takes real pride in its work. If you love chatting with people, have a knack for staying organized, and enjoy the buzz of a busy workplace, we might just have the perfect counter waiting for you.
About the Company
We’re not just another laundry spot in Dubai—we like to think of ourselves as a neighborhood essential, where regulars stop by not just for pressed shirts but for a familiar smile. Our team is a fun, tight-knit group that believes work should feel welcoming (and crisp, if you’ll pardon the pun!). While we run a modern operation with digital systems and efficient workflows, there’s always time for a shared cup of tea or a quick laugh before the afternoon rush. Growth is part of our story, and as our reputation spreads across Liwan, we’re excited to expand our front-desk crew.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Greeting customers with warmth and professionalism as they arrive (and often remembering their names and preferences)
- Answering calls and responding to questions about pricing, services, or pickup times in a clear, helpful manner
- Managing orders in our POS (Point-of-Sale) system—entering details accurately, handling transactions, and keeping things running smoothly
- Coordinating with the laundry team to track special requests and ensure no shirt or saree gets left behind
- Keeping the reception area tidy and inviting—think of it like setting the stage for every great first impression
- Handling basic admin duties, from light filing to updating customer records or schedules as needed
What You’ll Bring
- Good communication skills, both in person and over the phone—bonus points for a friendly sense of humor!
- Basic computer knowledge—you’re comfortable using a POS system and can pick up new tools quickly
- Customer service mindset—you actually enjoy helping people and smoothing over little bumps in their day
- Professional, presentable attitude—think neat, reliable, and approachable
- Previous receptionist or front-desk experience in retail, hospitality, or laundry services is a plus
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive pay and staff discounts (because laundry never stops, right?)
- A supportive team that looks out for each other—even during the busy rush hours
- Opportunities for on-the-job training and growth, especially if you’re eager to learn new skills
- Relaxed, friendly atmosphere with little touches that make work feel lighter (occasional snack breaks and plenty of good-natured banter)
- Convenient Liwan location with easy transport options
We’re excited to welcome someone who’ll fit right into our small-but-mighty crew. If you’re looking for a role where your smile truly matters, you might have just found your next work home.
