About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever wondered what it feels like to be the heartbeat of a buzzing restaurant floor? As a Restaurant Supervisor in Abu Dhabi, you’ll be the go-to person ensuring that every guest leaves with a smile—and that your team thrives. Whether you’re passionate about creating seamless service or you just love the hum of a well-run dining room, this is your chance to step up, grow, and make a visible impact in the hospitality scene.
About the Company
You’ll be joining a hospitality group that believes great food and genuine moments go hand-in-hand. Their venues are known for friendly team spirits, and there’s always a new idea bubbling up—in fact, Friday is unofficially “New Dish Day” (the kitchen swears by it). Here, supervisors aren’t just floor managers; they’re mentors, efficiency-seekers, and, sometimes, the reason a guest’s day turns around. With growth on the horizon, it’s an exciting time to hop aboard.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading daily front-of-house operations, keeping an eye on both the big picture and the small details
- Motivating, guiding, and training team members to deliver top-notch service—especially when the pace picks up
- Handling daily financial tasks, including closing out registers and compiling straightforward sales reports
- Coordinating staff schedules (yes, your organizational side will come in handy!) and making sure shifts run smoothly
- Responding to guest feedback with warmth and finding solutions that send people home happy
- Supporting new hires while keeping communication channels open between kitchen and servers
- Ensuring the restaurant floor looks great, tables are turned efficiently, and health & safety standards are second nature
What You’ll Bring
- Previous experience in a restaurant supervisory or senior server role (think: you’ve solved a seating mix-up on a busy night)
- Comfortable with basic accounting tasks—closing registers, tallying receipts, simple daily reporting
- Strong organizational skills and a calm approach under pressure
- Proven ability to manage, inspire, and coach a team (and maybe lighten the mood when needed)
- Clear communicator in English (Arabic is a plus, but not essential)
- A real passion for excellent hospitality
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
