About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Introduction
Are you the kind of person who thrives on building powerful business connections and turning strategic conversations into tangible results? As our next Senior Business Development Manager at ELDB Solutions, you’ll take a front-row seat helping redefine how global commerce flows between the US and the Middle East. This isn’t just business as usual — it’s your opportunity to help ambitious enterprises navigate complex cross-border deals, grow market share, and build partnerships that actually move the needle.
About the Company
ELDB Solutions isn’t your average consultancy. Born in the US and now rooted in the heart of Dubai, we’re a team of big-picture thinkers (with just the right dose of healthy skepticism) who know how to get things done. We’re at the sweet spot where legal expertise, M&A brokerage, and digital infrastructure intersect—serving as the go-to bridge for companies expanding across continents. Here, collaboration isn’t just a buzzword; whether it's brainstorming in a glass-walled meeting room or bonding on Friday demo days, our multinational team brings together grit, insight, and a bit of ambition-fueled fun.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Cultivating and expanding a high-value network of corporate clients, investors, and strategic partners across the GCC and beyond.
- Leading complex negotiation processes for mergers, acquisitions, and strategic collaborations — and seeing deals through from initial contact to signed contract.
- Mapping out new market opportunities, then crafting creative proposals and partnership models tailored to different sectors or clients.
- Working closely with legal, digital, and advisory teams to deliver integrated solutions that actually solve our clients’ challenges.
- Representing ELDB Solutions at key industry events, conferences, and client meetings — sometimes with a handshake, sometimes over a strong cup of Arabic coffee.
- Providing market intelligence and insights to senior leadership, helping shape ELDB’s offerings and go-to-market strategies.
- Coaching and mentoring junior team members, sharing both your insights and your mistakes (we’ve all been there).
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves
- Proven track record (7+ years) in business development, strategic partnerships, or M&A advisory — ideally within professional services, finance, legal, or digital sectors.
- Deep understanding of corporate structuring, cross-border transactions, and commercial negotiation in the GCC or similar dynamic markets.
- Relationship-building superpowers — you’re as comfortable in the boardroom as you are at networking events.
- Strong analytical thinking and a knack for connecting dots others might miss.
- Impeccable communication skills in English (bonus points for Arabic or other languages).
- Genuine curiosity about tech trends and how digital infrastructure is shifting global commerce.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience working at a growth-stage advisory, fintech, or digital solutions company.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks affecting cross-border business in the UAE/US.
- A penchant for rolling up your sleeves when needed — no ego about pitching in.
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here (Benefits & Perks)
- Competitive salary plus performance-based incentives — because your impact matters.
- Hybrid/flexible work arrangements: mix office energy with the option to work remotely when you need focus or family time.
- Generous annual leave and local holidays — we want you at your best, not burnt out.
- Exposure to top-tier clients, complex deals, and unique markets — the kind of experience you won’t find in a cookie-cutter role.
- Collaborative, cosmopolitan team: you’ll learn from experts in law, finance, tech, and beyond (and probably make a few friends along the way).
- Personal and professional growth, with mentorship from senior leadership and real opportunities to shape a fast-scaling business.
