About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever picture yourself making a real, tangible impact on the skyline (or rather, the villa-scape) of the UAE? If you’re a seasoned Senior Mechanical Engineer who knows a thing or two about turning blueprints into beautiful homes, this is your moment. We’re seeking someone who doesn’t just oversee a project, but brings a personal touch — especially when it comes to the unique challenges and high standards of villa developments in the region. This is more than a technical role; it’s a chance to lead, solve, and build in a market that’s always raising the bar.
About the Company
We’re a tight-knit engineering team making our mark on luxury villa projects across the UAE — think stunning architecture, innovative solutions, and a collaborative spirit that’s hard to find elsewhere. There’s real pride in our work, and it shows in the way we swap success stories (and the occasional construction-site prank) over coffee breaks. We’re past the scrappy startup stage but not so big that good ideas get lost. Everyone’s voice matters, no matter the title, and we genuinely believe the best builds come from a team that listens, adapts, and looks out for each other.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading the mechanical design and site execution for luxury villa projects — from initial concept to handover.
- Overseeing plumbing and HVAC systems, ensuring every installation meets both UAE regulations and our high internal benchmarks.
- Coordinating with architects, civil, and electrical teams to harmonize the countless moving parts of a villa build.
- Taking charge of on-site problem solving; whether it’s an unexpected hiccup in ductwork or a supplier delay, you’ll have the final say.
- Reviewing MEP drawings, BOQs, and specs to ensure nothing falls through the cracks — and that clients’ visions are realized to the smallest detail.
- Mentoring junior engineers and site supervisors, sharing the practical knowledge that only comes from years in the field.
- Keeping lines of communication open with stakeholders, consultants, and contractors, ensuring timelines and budgets stay on track.
- Occasionally rolling up your sleeves for site visits, inspections, and QA checks — this isn’t a purely desk-bound role.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- 10–12 years of hands-on UAE experience in mechanical engineering, focused on villa projects.
- Deep expertise in plumbing and HVAC systems for residential developments.
- Solid understanding of electrical work integration within villa construction.
- Proven independence in site execution, project coordination, and cross-discipline teamwork.
- Familiarity with relevant UAE codes, safety standards, and permit processes.
- Effective communication skills — spoken and written — with the confidence to drive meetings and site decisions.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience liaising directly with clients or high-net-worth homeowners.
- Working knowledge of BIM/Revit or similar modeling platforms.
- Fluency in additional languages (beyond English and Arabic), given our diverse team and clientele.
- Previous track record with innovative or sustainable building solutions.
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive, market-driven salary and performance-based bonuses.
- Supportive leadership who want you to grow — not just in your role, but in your career.
- Health coverage, paid leave, and a strong commitment to work-life balance.
- Hybrid schedule: spend your time where it counts most, whether that’s the site, home, or office.
- Opportunities to take the lead on high-visibility villa projects that genuinely shape the communities we serve.
- Warm, supportive team with an open-door (and open-WhatsApp) policy; you’ll never feel like just a cog in the machine.
We believe that building great homes starts with building a great workplace — and we work at it, every day. If you’re ready to take on a role that’s equal parts challenge, autonomy, and community, we hope you’ll reach out.
