About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever wondered what it feels like to be at the heart of a bustling retail environment, where your leadership shapes both the store and the customer experience? If you thrive on teamwork, order, and the energy that comes with a busy showroom, Afamia Mart in AlKhan, Al Sharjah, is looking for a Showroom Supervisor just like you. This is your chance to join an established retail brand that values both its team and its customers—especially at a time when retail is evolving faster than ever.
About Afamia Mart
Step inside Afamia Mart, and you’ll quickly see we’re not your typical retailer. Sure, we put great products on our shelves—but we’re just as passionate about creating a friendly, supportive workplace. We’re a team that shares the wins and the challenges, always celebrating store milestones (and birthdays) with equal gusto. Our growth over the years is thanks to people-first thinking, a hands-on management style, and a culture where initiative isn’t just welcomed—it’s encouraged.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the showroom, making sure everything runs like a well-oiled machine.
- Keeping product displays and shelves looking sharp—organized, well-stocked, and inviting for every shopper.
- Managing inventory by monitoring product availability and timing restocking just right (no empty shelves on your watch).
- Leading the showroom team, including assigning roles, coaching, and tracking progress on orders and other tasks.
- Jumping in to resolve customer inquiries, making sure everyone leaves happy (and hopefully returns).
- Collaborating with management for feedback and continuous improvement of showroom standards.
What You’ll Bring
- A knack for keeping things organized, even when the day gets busy.
- Solid people management skills—you enjoy helping others shine and keeping the team motivated.
- Experience in retail supervision or a similar customer-facing role.
- A hands-on approach and willingness to solve problems in the moment.
- Comfortable using digital tools or POS systems (if you’ve used retail management software, even better!)
- Strong communication skills: you know how to listen and make people feel heard.
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive salary with growth potential as our store expands.
- Supportive team culture—where everyone from the cashier to the manager is on the same side.
- Opportunities for training, skill development, and promotion from within.
- Modern, bright showroom with all the resources you need to succeed.
- Plus, our Friday afternoons sometimes come with impromptu team treats—because we take fun seriously, too.
At Afamia Mart, we believe great retail experiences start with a happy team. If you’re ready to lead, grow, and put your own stamp on Al Sharjah’s retail scene, we’d be thrilled to meet you!
