About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Introduction
Ever wondered what it’s like to be the backbone of a fast-moving trading operation in the heart of Dubai? This is that role. We’re on the lookout for a sharp, dependable Storekeeper who can take full ownership of our inventory — someone who treats the stockroom like their own domain and takes pride in keeping everything running smoothly. If you’ve got the experience and the drive to keep things organized in a bustling trade environment, you might just be exactly who we need.
About the Company
We’re a well-established trading company based in Dubai, and we’ve built our reputation on reliability and speed. Over the years, we’ve grown steadily, but we’ve kept that close-knit, family-like feel where everyone knows each other by name. Our team is a mix of long-timers and fresh faces, all working together to keep our supply chain moving. We’re not the kind of place where you get lost in the crowd — here, your work genuinely matters, and your efforts are seen and appreciated.
What You’ll Be Doing (Responsibilities)
- Receiving and inspecting stock — you’ll be the first set of eyes on incoming shipments, checking quantities and quality against delivery notes, and flagging any discrepancies right away.
- Organizing the warehouse — keeping shelves, racks, and storage areas tidy and logically arranged so that everything is easy to find and retrieve.
- Processing orders — picking, packing, and issuing stock to internal teams or external parties, making sure the right items go out in the right quantities.
- Maintaining accurate records — updating inventory systems and spreadsheets diligently, so our stock levels are always reliable and audit-ready.
- Conducting regular stock counts — performing cycle counts and full inventory checks to keep discrepancies at bay and ensure we always know what we have.
- Coordinating with procurement — flagging low-stock items and helping the purchasing team stay ahead of demand.
- Keeping the workspace safe — following health and safety guidelines and making sure the warehouse stays clean, organized, and hazard-free.
What You’ll Bring (Qualifications)
Must-Haves:
- Proven experience as a Storekeeper — ideally within a trading, distribution, or wholesale environment.
- Solid understanding of inventory management principles and warehouse best practices.
- Strong attention to detail — you catch the small things before they become big problems.
- Good numeracy and record-keeping skills, with comfort using inventory software or spreadsheets.
- Physical capability to handle stock, including lifting and moving items when needed.
- Reliable communication skills — you can coordinate clearly with team members, suppliers, and internal departments.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with ERP or inventory management systems.
- Forklift or material handling certification.
- Knowledge of Dubai’s import/export documentation processes.
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here (Benefits & Perks)
- A stable, growing company — we’ve been around for a while, and we’re not going anywhere. You can build a long-term career here.
- Supportive team culture — we look out for each other, and we celebrate wins together, big or small.
- Competitive salary and benefits — we believe in rewarding hard work fairly.
- Room to grow — there’s always opportunity to take on more responsibility and move up as the business expands.
- Central Dubai location — easy to get to, with a work environment that feels professional yet relaxed.
At the end of the day, we’re looking for someone who takes pride in a job well done. If that sounds like you, we’d love to meet you.
