What You’ll Be Doing

  • Overseeing the daily operation of our construction site stores, making sure materials flow where they’re needed.
  • Receiving, inspecting, and organizing incoming deliveries—no missing bolts on your watch!
  • Keeping meticulous records of stock levels, movements, and usage using our inventory management system.
  • Coordinating with site supervisors and project managers to forecast material needs and prevent bottlenecks.
  • Handling and safely storing a range of construction materials, from rebar and aggregates to specialized roadwork goods.
  • Identifying and reporting any discrepancies or damaged goods so nothing slows down the build.
  • Maintaining a clean, orderly stores area that’s easy for everyone to navigate (even at 6 AM on a Monday).
  • Occasionally pitching in for stock takes, audits, and helping implement improved supply-chain processes.

  • Proven experience as a Storekeeper, specifically within the construction industry.
  • Hands-on knowledge of inventory management, stock control, and material handling best practices.
  • Familiarity with construction materials, especially those used in roadworks and infrastructure projects.
