What You’ll Be Doing
- Overseeing the daily operation of our construction site stores, making sure materials flow where they’re needed.
- Receiving, inspecting, and organizing incoming deliveries—no missing bolts on your watch!
- Keeping meticulous records of stock levels, movements, and usage using our inventory management system.
- Coordinating with site supervisors and project managers to forecast material needs and prevent bottlenecks.
- Handling and safely storing a range of construction materials, from rebar and aggregates to specialized roadwork goods.
- Identifying and reporting any discrepancies or damaged goods so nothing slows down the build.
- Maintaining a clean, orderly stores area that’s easy for everyone to navigate (even at 6 AM on a Monday).
- Occasionally pitching in for stock takes, audits, and helping implement improved supply-chain processes.
What You’ll Bring

- Proven experience as a Storekeeper, specifically within the construction industry.
- Hands-on knowledge of inventory management, stock control, and material handling best practices.
- Familiarity with construction materials, especially those used in roadworks and infrastructure projects.
