About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever worked a magic trick with your hands and a block of wood? As a Carpenter with us, you’ll turn raw materials into stunning exhibits and retail environments. If you’re someone who thrives on precision and takes pride in seeing your work stand front and center — literally, at expos and in shop windows — this is your kind of challenge. We’re offering a competitive monthly salary (AED 2,000–2,500) and a spot on a team that genuinely values your craft.
About the Company
We’re a close-knit crew with a reputation for transforming spaces — from lively exhibition booths to cozy boutique corners. Our work is as much about creative solutions as it is about carpentry. You’ll find us experimenting with new materials, swapping tips over chai, and occasionally racing to see who assembles a display fastest (spoiler: it keeps us sharp). Our team approach means everyone’s voice matters, whether you’re suggesting a new tool or picking out playlist for the shop.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Interpreting blueprints, sketches, and plans to understand project requirements (sometimes over a quick espresso with the designer)
- Measuring, cutting, and shaping wood and related materials with an eye for accuracy and detail
- Assembling, installing, and finishing wooden structures for exhibitions, events, retail fit-outs, and interiors — making sure every corner lines up just right
- Working with a range of hand and power tools (if you have a favorite chisel, you’ll fit right in)
- Collaborating with decorators, project managers, and fellow tradespeople to ensure deadlines are met and quality standards never dip
- Repairing, refining, or retrofitting existing structures as client needs evolve
- Maintaining a safe, tidy workspace — because we know accidents have no place near your masterpiece
