About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever wondered what it’s like to see a job site transform from bare concrete to a space full of character—thanks to your hands-on skill and guidance? This Carpenter & Team Leader role in Musaffah might just be your next rewarding challenge. We're looking for someone who doesn’t just know their way around wood, but can also inspire and direct a team with confidence. If you take pride in bringing out the best in people (and in your finished work), this opening is tailored for you.
About Us
Our team operates more like a close-knit crew than a sprawling corporation. Based right here in Musaffah, we’ve built our reputation on delivering quality craftsmanship and honest partnerships — both with our clients and within our group. You’ll find we take pride in learning from each other, sharing a laugh on busy days, and celebrating successful project handovers (sometimes with the team’s favorite takeaway). At our core, we value reliability, respect, and hands-on know-how—no pretense, just a straightforward approach to getting good work done.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Overseeing daily carpentry operations onsite, ensuring standards and deadlines are met.
- Hands-on execution of skilled carpentry tasks—installing, repairing, and refurbishing as needed.
- Supervising and mentoring a team of carpenters and laborers with clarity and support.
- Coordinating materials, deliveries, and workflow to keep each project running smoothly.
- Communicating with contractors, foremen, or clients for smooth project progression.
- Troubleshooting unexpected snags—whether it’s a measurement gone slightly awry or a team member who needs a quick pep talk.
- Maintaining safety standards and ensuring everyone’s on board with proper site protocols.
- Providing clear feedback and progress updates to management.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- At least 2 years of proven carpentry experience within the UAE.
- Strong working knowledge of carpentry methods, materials, and tools for commercial and/or residential sites.
- Experience supervising a team—organizing workloads and supporting worker growth.
- Confident communicator in a diverse, multicultural environment.
- Able to handle site responsibilities independently, with a proactive mindset.
- Willingness to join immediately (or very soon).
Nice-to-Haves:
- Basic proficiency in reading construction drawings or plans.
- UAE driver’s license.
- Familiarity with safety rules and local compliance guidelines.
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive salary, paid on time—no waiting around.
- Steady projects and real-world variety: you’ll never be stuck doing only one thing.
- Supportive leadership that values your input and growth.
- A solid, trustworthy team where everyone’s contribution matters.
- Opportunities to develop into more senior site management roles.
- Uniforms and up-to-date tools provided (so you can focus on working, not shopping).
- Open-door feedback culture—your ideas and experience make us all better.
- Most weekends off, with flexibility during project peaks.
There’s a genuine sense of pride in seeing our work across Musaffah, knowing you’ve played a big role—in both the hands-on craft and in leading others forward. If this sounds like a place you could see yourself, let’s connect.
