What You’ll Be Doing
- Greeting guests with genuine warmth and making that first impression count (even after a long flight).
- Handling check-ins, check-outs, and reservations efficiently — accuracy matters, but so does a smile.
- Answering questions about hotel facilities, local attractions, and transportation — you’ll quickly become a go-to expert.
- Coordinating with housekeeping and other departments to ensure seamless guest service.
- Managing payments, invoices, and guest records with attention to detail.
- Responding calmly and resourcefully to guest concerns or special requests.
- Supporting your fellow receptionists — teamwork is our secret ingredient.
- Working an 8-hour shift, five days a week, with a supportive handover between shifts.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Current residency in the UAE.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing or hospitality role.
- Good spoken and written English; another language is always a plus.
- Comfort with basic computer systems (PMS experience is helpful, but not required).
- Professional appearance and a natural sense of courtesy.
- Willingness to work shift hours and weekends as part of a roster.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Previous hotel front desk experience in Dubai or the Gulf region.
- Additional language skills (Arabic, Russian, Mandarin, etc.).
- Familiarity with booking platforms and hotel management software.
