What You’ll Be Doing (Responsibilities)
Your specific tasks will vary by role, but here’s a flavor of the kind of hands-on work you’ll be driving:
- Steel Fixer: Place, tie, and install steel bars and mesh for reinforced concrete structures — foundations, columns, and slabs.
- Shuttering Carpenter: Build and dismantle formwork and molds for concrete casting, ensuring accuracy and a perfect finish.
- Plaster/Block/Tile Mason: Apply and finish plaster, lay blockwork, cut and place tiles, and patch up surfaces to look brand new.
- Stone & Marble Fixer: Measure, cut, and set stone or marble with an eye for detail and high-end finishing.
- Electrician: Handle wiring, install fixtures, troubleshoot electrical issues, and maintain a high safety standard, every time.
- Plumber: Fit and repair pipelines, install sanitary fixtures, ensure leak-free, reliable systems.
- Gypsum Board Installer: Shape, fit, and finish drywall partitions and ceilings — “smooth as glass” could be your motto.
- Painter: Mix, match, and apply paints to interiors and exteriors, always keeping an eye on surface prep and neatness.
- AC Technician (HVAC): Install, troubleshoot, and maintain air conditioning and HVAC systems for comfortable indoor climate, year-round.
You’ll work alongside experienced professionals, follow detailed drawings or instructions, and keep quality and safety front of mind.
What You’ll Bring (Qualifications)
Must-Haves:
- Previous experience in your specific trade (minimum 2 years preferred)
- Solid understanding of safety standards and materials relevant to your role
- Physical fitness and stamina — you know the job can be demanding
- Basic English communication skills (spoken)
- Ability to work cooperatively in a diverse, multicultural team
