About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented AutoCAD Drafter to join our dynamic team in Dubai Al Karama. In this pivotal role, you will be at the heart of our project design process, transforming concepts and ideas into precise technical drawings using AutoCAD software. Your expertise will ensure that all designs and plans meet stringent industry standards and accurately reflect project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical drawings and plans utilizing AutoCAD software, translating sketches and specifications into detailed blueprints.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and designers throughout the project lifecycle to ensure all drawings and plans meet design intent and technical requirements.
• Review and revise drawings based on feedback from project stakeholders, incorporating changes promptly and effectively.
• Maintain organized documentation of all drawings, ensuring easy access and compliance with company protocols.
• Coordinate with project teams to clarify design details and resolve any discrepancies during the drafting process.
• Ensure adherence to local and international drafting standards and regulatory guidelines specific to the Gulf region.
• Support the preparation of as-built drawings and project documentation for handover and archival purposes.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an AutoCAD Drafter, preferably within the Gulf region or with Gulf Country projects.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and related drafting software.
• Solid understanding of technical drawing conventions, engineering terminology, and architectural standards.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret and produce detailed technical drawings from rough sketches, verbal instructions, and project briefs.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all drafting work.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• A relevant diploma or degree in drafting, engineering, architecture, or a related field is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous work experience in Dubai, Al Karama, or other Gulf countries.
• Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and standards.
• Experience working on commercial, residential, or infrastructure projects in the region.
• Knowledge of additional design software such as Revit, SketchUp, or 3D modeling tools is an asset.
