Role Overview

As a Logistic Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and overseeing the entire supply chain and logistics operations for a prominent organization based in Dubai Investment Park (DIP), UAE. • Team Leadership and Supervision:
  Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of logistics professionals, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.

• Transportation Coordination:
  Plan and coordinate transportation schedules, negotiate with carriers, and monitor logistics partners to ensure reliable and cost-efficient movement of goods.

• Inventory Management:
  Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and implement effective stock control measures to balance supply and demand.

• Compliance and Quality Assurance:
  Ensure all logistics activities comply with industry regulations, company policies, and UAE laws. Maintain up-to-date records and documentation in line with audit requirements.

• Process Optimization:
  Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies, recommending and implementing process improvements to optimize resources and reduce operational costs.

• Problem Solving and Crisis Management:
  Respond proactively to logistical challenges, resolve issues efficiently, and maintain smooth operations even under tight deadlines.

• Stakeholder Communication:
  Liaise with internal departments, suppliers, and customers to coordinate logistics activities and manage expectations.

Requirements

• Educational Background:
  Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

• Professional Experience:
  Demonstrated experience (minimum 5 years) in logistics management, preferably within the UAE or GCC region.

• Leadership Skills:
  Proven ability to lead and develop teams, delegate responsibilities, and motivate staff towards achieving operational goals.

• Industry Knowledge:
  In-depth understanding of logistics, supply chain processes, and best practices relevant to the UAE market.

• Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities:
  Strong critical thinking skills, with the capacity to identify issues, analyze data, and implement effective solutions swiftly.

• Communication:
  Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.

• Technical Proficiency:
