About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever worked with your hands and watched a simple sheet of material transform into something eye-catching and alive? As an Acrylic Fabricator at our Al Quoz workshop, you’re not just following orders — you’re turning ideas into polished, practical reality. Here in the heart of Dubai’s industrial scene, our team needs someone passionate about crafting, shaping, and truly perfecting acrylic components. If you love problem-solving and want to see your work take shape (sometimes literally), this role might just fit you better than your favorite safety gloves.
About the Company
We’re a specialist acrylic fabrication workshop where skill and creativity rule the day — and where a little friendly competition over who can make the cleanest joint is a badge of honor. Our crew is tight-knit, practical, and driven to elevate ordinary designs into remarkable functional pieces, whether it’s bespoke signage for a new business or intricate installations for luxury interiors. Friday lunches are never boring (we take turns bringing in snacks from around Dubai), and there’s a real sense of pride in every piece we send out the door.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Measuring and marking acrylic sheets based on detailed, client-provided drawings and schematics.
- Cutting, bending, and shaping acrylic using hand and power tools — and knowing just when each technique is right.
- Bonding, assembling, and polishing finished components until they meet our workshop’s (and your own) standards for perfection.
- Installing finished acrylic pieces on client sites around Dubai — occasionally troubleshooting and adapting on the fly.
- Collaborating with designers and project managers, offering input on manufacturing considerations for new projects.
- Maintaining tools and workspace with a safety-first mindset, because quality depends on the details.
- Sometimes lending a hand to new team members and sharing your tips for flawless seams or ultra-clear edges.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Hands-on experience in acrylic fabrication, with tangible examples of your work (we’d love to see your portfolio or photos).
- Confidence in reading and interpreting technical drawings, sketches, and precise measurements.
- Strong ability to cut, bend, shape, bond, assemble, and polish various acrylic products.
- Familiarity with installing fabricated acrylic onsite, including basic problem-solving during fitting.
- Good communication skills — you’ll be working closely with colleagues and sometimes chatting with clients.
- Diligent attention to detail (because we all know the difference well-finished edges make).
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience working in a team-based industrial or workshop setting.
- Knowledge of alternative fabrication materials (e.g., polycarbonate, PVC) or CNC machinery.
- UAE driving license would be useful for installation jobs, but it’s not essential.
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive salary package and overtime compensation for those busy project weeks.
- Supportive, team-driven workshop where your ideas and methods are valued.
- Modern, well-equipped workspace in Al Quoz, easily accessible from most parts of Dubai.
- Opportunities to learn new techniques — we’re always upgrading tools and sharing skills.
- Genuine respect for craftsmanship and the rewards of working with your hands.
- Flexible approach to time off and shift swaps whenever you need to handle life outside of work.
Here, you’re part of a team that sweats the details and celebrates beautiful results. If you want your days to stay varied, your work to matter, and your skills to keep growing, you’ll find yourself right at home.
