About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Introduction
Curious what it’s like to be the dependable engine that keeps an office humming along quietly behind the scenes? If you’re organized, proactive, and have a knack for bringing calm to daily chaos, you might be the Administrative Assistant we’re looking for. This isn’t just any admin role — it’s a chance to become a vital team member in Khaldiya, Abu Dhabi, with a welcoming group that values reliability and clear communication. If you speak both English and Arabic, there’s even more reason to read on.
About the Company
Nestled in the heart of Khaldiya, our office is a hub of professionals who genuinely care about making work both productive and pleasant. We thrive on gentle efficiency: morning catch-ups over coffee, spontaneous team problem-solving, and a shared appreciation for the little things that make a day brighter (don’t be surprised if there’s homemade baklava in the break room). We’re established but growing, blending proven ways of working with fresh perspectives from new colleagues.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Keeping the office running smoothly by managing and organizing paperwork — physical files and digital archives alike
- Handling incoming calls and emails with professionalism and a warm, approachable manner
- Coordinating busy schedules for meetings, appointments, and team activities (yes, you’ll sometimes be the hero who finds that one perfect time slot)
- Supporting daily office operations: from ordering supplies to making sure the copier behaves itself
- Assisting various team members with general administrative tasks — no two days are quite the same
- Occasionally helping visitors feel welcome and pointing them in the right direction
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- At least 1 year of administrative experience — in the UAE, so you’re familiar with the local pace and expectations
- Comfortable with both English and Arabic, spoken and written
- Strong organizational skills and a love of bringing order to the occasional bit of office mayhem
- Good with the usual office tech: emails, calendars, basic spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets), and a generally tech-friendly attitude
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience supporting a small-to-medium office team
- A knack for troubleshooting little problems before anyone else even notices them
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive salary range: AED 2,500 – 3,500/month (final offer based on your experience)
- Friendly, supportive team that appreciates what a great admin brings to the table
- Stable, well-located office in Khaldiya, with easy access to amenities
- Occasional team lunches, casual dress code, and a positive, respectful atmosphere
- Clear opportunities to learn, grow, and take on new responsibilities as we expand
Here, your attention to detail and friendly presence won’t go unnoticed. If you’re ready to feel part of something every day, you’ll fit right in.
