About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Introduction
Looking for a role where your knack for organization and communication truly makes a difference? As our new Administrative Officer, you'll be right at the heart of our daily operations—ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently from the moment materials arrive to the moment they leave our doors. If you love juggling details, collaborating with people, and being the “go-to” person everyone relies on, this could be your perfect next step. The logistics world never slows down, and there’s genuine satisfaction in being the one who keeps it all on track.
About the Company
We’re a tight-knit, steadily growing company with a genuine focus on getting things done—and getting them done right. While we take our work seriously, we don’t take ourselves too seriously; our Friday lunchtime catch-ups are sometimes more about sharing favorite recipes than reviewing metrics. Around here, good ideas come from everywhere, and we believe everyone adds value, regardless of job title. If you’re looking to join a team that knows how to hustle but also how to celebrate the little wins, you’ll fit right in.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Coordinating the daily workflow so all operations are in sync—think of yourself as the backstage director keeping the show running.
- Carefully managing the receiving and delivery of materials, checking everything off the list as it enters and leaves the building.
- Accurately entering and updating data in our systems; keen attention to detail is your best friend here.
- Preparing straightforward reports and maintaining thorough records—organization is key!
- Communicating daily with customers, drivers, and internal teams to resolve issues, answer questions, and keep everyone in the loop.
- Jumping in wherever needed to support day-to-day operations; no two days are exactly alike, and you’ll always be learning something new.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Previous experience in an administrative, logistics, or operations support role.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to keep accurate records—typos and missing data just aren’t your style.
- Good communication skills—friendly, professional, and clear, whether by phone, email, or in person.
- Comfort with basic data entry and Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and Word).
- A proactive, can-do attitude; you see what needs to be done and get to it.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience working with inventory, warehouse, or logistics software.
- Familiarity with reporting or creating simple process improvements.
- The ability to juggle a few balls at once—and still keep your cool.
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
