About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever found yourself running a hand along a perfectly finished piece of aluminum and thinking, “I made this”? If you’re proud of your craftsmanship—and you know your way around everything from cutting to fitting aluminum structures—this role just might be your next great opportunity. As our new Aluminum Fabricator, you’ll put your expertise to use on projects that actually value attention to detail. Here’s your chance to join a company that offers not just stable employment, but a place where quality really means something.
About the Company
At Almarkez, we’re a close-knit crew who believes precision is as important as teamwork. While we’re serious about delivering on client expectations, we haven’t lost our sense of humor—or our habit of sharing a good cup of coffee during breaks. Our shop is a place where hands-on skills and creative problem solving are put to the test every day, and where long-term team members are the norm, not the exception. If you’re looking for a workplace where your efforts are seen, appreciated, and rewarded, you’ll feel right at home here.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Studying fabrication drawings and specifications carefully to create accurate aluminum assemblies
- Measuring, cutting, and shaping aluminum materials using saws, drills, and other power tools
- Assembling and joining sections—sometimes in the workshop, sometimes on-site—always with precision
- Installing completed aluminum structures (think: window frames, doors, panels) according to drawings and safety standards
- Checking your own work for quality assurance and collaborating with team members for larger builds
- Maintaining tools, equipment, and a neat workspace, because you know safety and efficiency go hand-in-hand
- Suggesting small tweaks or solutions when unexpected issues pop up (they always do, right?)
What You’ll Bring
- Hands-on experience in aluminum fabrication—ideally 2+ years in a similar role
- Confidence interpreting technical drawings, with an eye for detail and accuracy
- Skill with power tools and workshop machinery (from basic handheld gear to larger cutting equipment)
- Reliability and a strong work ethic, especially when deadlines get tight
- Willingness to learn new methods or share your own tips with the team
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive salary, based on your skills and experience
- Long-term job security—our projects keep coming, and our core team stays strong
- Friendly, supportive colleagues who genuinely want to help you succeed
- Consistent work hours, so you can still plan your life outside the shop
- Opportunities to take on more responsibility or learn new fabrication techniques
- The simple satisfaction of seeing your handiwork in finished projects across the city
At Almarkez, we believe in building things—both structures and lasting careers. If you’re ready for a workplace where craftsmanship is truly valued, we can’t wait to meet you.
