What You’ll Be Doing
- Overseeing all aluminum fabrication and installation activities on active job sites — and rolling up your sleeves when needed.
- Reviewing and preparing detailed shop drawings to ensure accuracy and feasibility before work begins.
- Developing cost estimates and tailored quotation offers for project bids and client approvals.
- Coordinating daily with project engineers and management to sync up on timelines, resource needs, and unexpected hurdles.
- Supervising, training, and motivating aluminum workers — you’ll be the go-to person for technical questions and on-site challenges.
- Ensuring every step follows stringent safety and quality standards, from the first cut to final installation.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves
- Demonstrated experience (minimum 5 years preferred) supervising aluminum fabrication and installation jobs.
- Strong skills in reading, interpreting, and redlining shop drawings.
- Working knowledge of preparing cost estimates and quotation letters for aluminum works.
- Proven ability to lead a crew — balancing motivation, clear communication, and relentless focus on safety and timelines.
- Familiarity with relevant Dubai construction codes, site protocols, and industry best practices.
Nice-to-Haves
- Technical diploma or vocational certification in aluminum fabrication or a related field.
- Direct experience working on mid- or large-scale projects in the UAE.
