What You’ll Be Doing
- Reviewing architectural and shop drawings to fully understand scope and requirements
- Preparing detailed quantity take-offs for aluminum and glass works — no guesswork, just accuracy
- Calculating precise material, fabrication, and installation costs for each project stage
- Coordinating with suppliers and fabricators to source updated quotes and ensure material availability
- Preparing competitive quotations and comprehensive tender packages tailored to each client
- Working hand-in-hand with project managers, designers, and site teams to clarify technical details
- Keeping organized records of estimates, correspondence, and supplier agreements for future reference
- Spotting potential cost risks and value engineering opportunities — then flagging them before they become issues
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Solid experience as an Estimator in aluminum and glass, facades, or related construction fields
- Strong ability to interpret architectural plans, shop drawings, and project specs
- Proficiency in take-off and cost estimation tools (Excel skills are essential; industry software is a plus)
- A sharp eye for detail, numbers, and timelines — you’re the one who catches discrepancies others miss
- Strong communication skills for interacting with suppliers and internal teams (English required; Arabic is a plus)
- Based in, or willing to relocate to, Sharjah, Al Zayed
Nice-to-Haves:
- Familiarity with local (UAE/GCC) supplier networks
- Previous experience preparing tender submissions
- Hands-on project/site experience
