About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Introduction Paragraph

Ever wondered what it feels like to be the face of a brand's next big social media moment? We're a digital marketing crew based on Al Reem Island in Abu Dhabi, and we're on the hunt for Arabic-speaking models to join our content shoots on a project basis. This isn't your typical rigid, full-time gig — it's flexible, creative, and perfect for someone who enjoys stepping in front of the camera and bringing ideas to life. If you've got that natural on-screen spark and can deliver lines in Arabic like you're chatting with a friend, keep reading.

About the Company

We're a digital marketing agency that lives and breathes content — the kind that stops thumbs mid-scroll. Our studio sits on Al Reem Island, but our work travels across platforms and audiences all over the region. The team here is a mix of strategists, editors, and creatives who genuinely enjoy what they do, and shoot days tend to have a certain buzz to them. There's usually music playing, someone tweaking a ring light, and a lot of quick back-and-forth about getting the perfect take. We're growing, we're busy, and we're always looking for fresh faces to collaborate with.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Appear in social media video and photo shoots for a range of client campaigns
  • Deliver scripted and semi-scripted lines in fluent Arabic, keeping the tone natural and engaging
  • Take direction from our creative team while also bringing your own personality to each take
  • Collaborate with videographers, photographers, and other talent on set to keep shoots running smoothly
  • Show up on time, ready to go, for scheduled shoot days — reliability is everything in this line of work
  • Occasionally review footage or provide input on how a scene could feel more authentic

What You'll Bring

Must-Haves:

  • Fluent Arabic speaking ability (dialect and Modern Standard Arabic both welcome)
  • A confident, comfortable presence in front of the camera
  • Strong commitment to showing up for scheduled shoots — punctuality matters
  • The ability to present content naturally and clearly, without sounding robotic or overly rehearsed

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Prior experience in modeling, acting, or content creation
  • A portfolio or work samples we can take a look at
  • Flexibility with shoot locations and times

Not sure you tick every box? We'd still love to hear from you — sometimes the right energy matters more than a perfect checklist.

Why You'll Love Working Here

  • Project-based flexibility — work with us when it fits your schedule, no rigid 9-to-5
  • Competitive rates — we value your time and talent, and it shows in what we offer
  • A collaborative set — no diva energy here, just a team that wants great content
  • Exposure — your work goes out across real client campaigns and social platforms
  • Easy location — our studio is right on Al Reem Island, accessible and modern
  • Repeat opportunities — nail a shoot, and we'll keep you in mind for future projects

We know the creative industry runs on good people and good energy, and we try to reflect that in every project we run. If you're looking for a flexible way to build your on-camera experience with a team that actually enjoys the process, this could be a great fit.

Common Interview Questions and Tips

To help you prepare and feel confident, here are some questions you might encounter during the interview process for this role.

  • Walk us through how you usually prepare for a shoot where you're delivering lines in Arabic — do you rehearse fully, or do you prefer to keep it loose and natural?
  • If a director asked you to redo a take five or six times because the energy wasn't quite right, how would you handle that in the moment?
  • Tell us about a time you had to take direction that felt a bit outside your comfort zone. How did you adapt?
  • How do you adjust your delivery when the script calls for Modern Standard Arabic versus when it's meant to sound like a casual conversation with a friend?
  • Describe a shoot day that didn't go according to plan. What happened, and what did you do to keep things moving?
  • What's your process for memorizing lines quickly, especially when you might only get the script shortly before the camera rolls?
  • Can you share an example of a time you brought your own personality or idea to a scene and it made the final cut better?
  • How comfortable are you improvising in Arabic when a line doesn't land the way it was written?
  • What draws you to project-based, on-camera work rather than a traditional full-time role?
  • How do you typically handle last-minute changes to shoot locations or schedules?
  • Tell us about a time you worked alongside a videographer, photographer, or other talent to get a shot right. What was your role in making that collaboration work?
  • What does showing up "ready to go" on a shoot day actually look like for you — walk us through your routine.
  • If you had to describe the kind of on-camera presence you bring to a set in one sentence, what would you say?

Market-Based Salary Overview and Analysis

For project-based Arabic-speaking model work with a digital marketing agency in Abu Dhabi, you should expect somewhere in the range of 1,500 to 4,000 AED per shoot day, depending on the scope of the campaign, usage rights, and your level of experience. Similar roles in the UAE usually pay first-timers or those building their portfolio on the lower end, while experienced models with a strong reel and agency representation can command higher day rates, especially for branded content that gets wide distribution. Since this is freelance and project-based rather than a monthly salary, it's worth asking upfront whether the rate covers the shoot day only or also includes usage rights and any reshoots — that clarity protects you and keeps things professional on both sides.
