About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Introduction
Ever wonder what it takes to run a bakery that feels both bustling and welcoming? If you’ve got a knack for operations and a genuine love for the craft of baking, this role in Ras Al-Khaimah might just be your next great move. We’re looking for a Bakery Operations Manager to take the helm of our daily production and keep the heart of our kitchen beating strong. This isn’t just a desk job — it’s a hands-on leadership role where your decisions directly shape the quality of what goes out the door and the vibe on the floor.
About the Company
We’re a growing food-service operation in the heart of Ras Al-Khaimah, known for our commitment to fresh, quality products and a team that genuinely enjoys working together. We’re not a faceless corporation — we’re a tight-knit group that takes pride in what we create, and we’ve built a reputation for consistency and care. Here, you’ll find a supportive environment where the morning rush is tackled with energy, and the quieter hours are spent planning, improving, and making sure everything runs like clockwork.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Oversee daily bakery operations — from the moment the ovens fire up to the final closing checks, you’re the one keeping things moving smoothly.
- Supervise production and quality — you’ll be tasting, inspecting, and fine-tuning to make sure every batch meets our standards.
- Manage staff attendance, schedules, and leave — you’ll build rotas that work for the business and your team, and handle the occasional curveball with grace.
- Handle discipline and performance — you’re the go-to for keeping morale high and addressing issues before they become problems.
- Ensure cleanliness and food safety — you’ll make sure every corner meets health and safety standards, no exceptions.
- Oversee sales and daily cash closing — you’ll keep an eye on the numbers, reconcile the till, and make sure everything adds up at the end of the day.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Proven experience in bakery, restaurant, or food-service operations — you know the pace, the pressure, and the joy of a well-run shift.
- Solid leadership skills — you’ve managed teams before and know how to motivate without micromanaging.
- A sharp eye for quality and detail — you notice when something’s off, and you care enough to fix it.
- Comfort with numbers — cash reconciliation and sales tracking shouldn’t faze you.
- Food safety knowledge — you understand the importance of hygiene standards and can enforce them confidently.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with inventory management or supply ordering.
- A background in retail or customer-facing operations.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- A role with real ownership — you’ll have the autonomy to make decisions and see the impact of your work every single day.
- A supportive team culture — no one’s left to drown in the weeds; we pitch in when it gets busy.
- Competitive salary and benefits — we value the people who keep things running.
- Room to grow — as we expand, there’s potential for you to grow with us.
- The charm of Ras Al-Khaimah — a quieter pace of life, beautiful surroundings, and a community that feels like home.
At the end of the day, this is more than just managing a bakery — it’s about being part of something that makes people’s mornings a little better. If that sounds like your kind of challenge, we’d love to talk.
