Step into the Heart of Hospitality: Barista Opportunity
If you’ve ever dreamed of being the friendly face behind the counter—the one who knows every regular’s favorite drink and brings a personal touch to each order—this could be your moment. We're looking for a Barista who’s ready to jump in, craft delicious beverages, and help foster a welcoming space where every cup feels like a small comfort in someone’s day. Immediate start preferred, so if you’re eager to join a team where your talents matter right away, read on!
About Us
We’re more than just a corner café. Our spot is where locals gather for their morning pick-me-up, students linger with their laptops, and neighbors swap stories over fresh juice and pastries. We’ve built a small, tightly-knit team that believes hospitality starts with genuine connection—whether that’s a quick hello on a busy morning or remembering how Ms. Fatima likes her latte. No detail is too small here; we take pride in our cleanliness, our service, and the little rituals (like a shared staff breakfast on Thursdays) that keep us motivated.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Preparing and serving a range of hot drinks, from classic espressos to creative specialties, alongside freshly made juices.
- Keeping your station and the café sparkling clean—because we believe a tidy space is the secret ingredient to a good cup.
- Following food safety and hygiene protocols; we all look out for each other (and our customers).
- Greeting customers, taking orders, answering questions, and sharing a genuine smile—even on the busiest shifts.
- Jumping in wherever needed, whether it’s restocking supplies, helping with opening/closing, or cheering up a teammate who’s had a tough morning.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Previous experience as a barista or in a similar café role.
- A genuine knack for customer service—you understand that one kind gesture can make someone’s day.
- Willingness to help out wherever needed; team spirit is everything here.
- Commitment to following cleanliness and safety standards.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Knowledge of blending juices or creating latte art (or the drive to learn!).
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
- Can adapt quickly and keep cool during a morning rush.
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive salary, paid on time—no surprises.
- Accommodation and transportation provided for a worry-free transition.
- Supportive team environment with hands-on training from day one.
- Opportunities to grow your skills and knowledge in specialty coffee and hospitality.
- Staff meals, regular breaks, and a manager who genuinely listens.
If you’re looking for a place where your work is appreciated, your growth is encouraged, and your espresso shots are never wasted, we think you’ll feel right at home here.
