About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever walked into a place and immediately felt at home? That’s the atmosphere we’re looking to create at Al Raha Gym — and you could be the friendly, energetic Customer Service Representative who makes that happen! This isn’t just another front desk job. We’re after someone who loves connecting with people, thrives in an active environment, and is just as comfortable chatting with members in person as she is replying to inquiries online. If you light up when you help others feel their best, this could be your ideal role.
About Al Raha Gym
Al Raha is more than a fitness center; we're a community hub where our members find support, motivation, and real results. Our team is tight-knit and passionate about making health accessible and enjoyable. You’ll often find us swapping healthy snack ideas or sharing post-workout laughs between shifts. Growth is happening fast here — and we pride ourselves on staying ahead, whether that’s by welcoming new digital tools or supporting staff with personal development (and yes, gym access is a perk!).
What You’ll Be Doing
- Greeting members and guests with a genuine smile — you set the tone for their whole gym experience!
- Answering questions at the front desk, by phone, and via social media DMs or comments.
- Helping new members sign up and feel welcome, including giving mini-tours and explaining our programs.
- Managing daily front desk operations: checking members in, handling payments, booking classes, and keeping things organized.
- Engaging with our members online: sharing updates, responding to messages, and keeping our social media friendly, positive, and active.
- Jumping in to help with gym events, member appreciation days, or the occasional team selfie for Instagram.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role — gym or hospitality experience is a plus, but not a must!
- Clear, friendly communication skills. You know how to make someone feel heard.
- Confidence with basic tech: booking systems, social media platforms, and email.
- Organized approach and an eye for detail — you notice the little things others might miss.
- Positive attitude and a willingness to help both members and teammates.
Nice-to-Haves:
- A passion for fitness or wellness — maybe you love to work out, or you’re curious to learn.
- Experience creating social media content (Reels, Stories, or responding to comments).
- Conversational Arabic language skills (not required, but a bonus).
Not sure you match every item? Reach out anyway — we care more about people than perfection!
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive salary and opportunities for performance-based incentives.
- Free gym membership — we want our team to feel their best, too!
- Supportive, all-women team environment; you’re valued as a person here, not just for your work.
- Flexible shifts, with options for part-time or full-time hours to fit your life.
- Modern workspace with great coffee, snacks, and good vibes.
- Room to grow — we love to promote from within, and new projects pop up regularly.
At Al Raha Gym, you’re not just answering phones or managing bookings. You’re helping shape the heart of our community, making every member feel like they belong. If you love people and thrive on positive energy, you might have just found your fitness family!
