About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Introduction
Are you the kind of person who takes pride in skillfully maneuvering heavy machinery, even in tight spots? If operating a Bobcat feels more like a craft than a job to you, International General Transport might just have the opportunity you’ve been waiting for. We’re looking for five experienced Bobcat Operators to join our team on-site in Jerf 1, right in the heart of Ajman’s dynamic western region. With new projects lining up, there’s never been a better time to put your expertise to work and make a real impact.
About the Company
At International General Transport, we’re more than a smooth-running fleet — we’re a team that thrives on reliability, safety, and a touch of friendly competition (you should hear the banter in our morning briefings). Even as we grow, we keep things grounded: open communication, mutual respect, and knowing that results come from every team member doing their part. Whether you’re joining us on your first day or celebrating five years, you’ll feel that spirit of camaraderie right away.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Safely operate Bobcat machinery across various sites in Jerf 1, assisting with earthmoving, leveling, and material transport
- Follow project specifications to ensure all work is accurate, timely, and up to company standards
- Conduct daily pre-operation checks and basic maintenance to keep your assigned equipment in top shape
- Report hazards, incidents, or maintenance issues promptly — safety comes first, always
- Coordinate with site supervisors and fellow operators to support smooth, efficient workflows
- Occasionally help train new team members or share best practices with less experienced operators
- Demonstrate flexibility, stepping in for urgent tasks or jobsite changes as required
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience operating Bobcat machinery, ideally on construction or transport sites
- Valid UAE equipment operator’s license (or ability to obtain one)
- Solid understanding of safety protocols related to heavy machinery
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, yet collaborate when the task calls for it
- Readiness to start immediately is a major plus
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience operating other types of site equipment
- Knowledge of minor Bobcat repairs or troubleshooting
- Familiarity with project sites in Ajman or the wider western region
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
