What You’ll Be Doing
- Supervise and coordinate daily site activities, making sure every task—from formwork to finishing touches—runs smoothly and safely
- Interpret construction drawings and specs, providing clear, step-by-step guidance to your crew
- Allocate jobs and oversee labor, keeping morale high and minimizing downtime
- Monitor the quality of civil, concrete, structural, and finishing work—spotting small issues before they become big headaches
- Liaise with site engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to keep things moving efficiently
- Conduct regular safety briefs and toolbox talks, ensuring the team is as protected as they are productive
- Track tools, materials, and attendance—sometimes improvising solutions to keep things on schedule in Ajman’s fast-paced industrial zones
- Maintain accurate site records and daily reports, supporting transparent communication with management
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- At least 5 years’ experience as a Civil Foreman, specifically within the UAE
- Proven track record supervising site operations in civil works, concrete, structural, and finishing activities
- Hands-on experience managing and motivating labor teams
- Strong ability to read, interpret, and work strictly from construction drawings and technical specs
- Solid workplace communication skills—in English, and ideally basic spoken Hindi or Arabic (always a plus for smooth on-site interactions)
- Up-to-date knowledge of safety protocols and site best practices
Nice-to-Haves:
- Familiarity with construction work in Ajman or other Northern Emirates
- Experience with digital tools for daily reporting or inventory tracking
