What You’ll Be Doing
- Measuring, cutting, and assembling wood and various materials to precise specifications
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, plans, and sketches—no guesswork here
- Installing fixtures such as windows, doors, cabinets, and trim with a keen eye for detail
- Repairing or replacing damaged framework or structures as needed
- Collaborating with other tradespeople (plumbers, electricians, etc.) to ensure smooth progress onsite
- Keeping your workspace organized and safe—because a tidy site is a happy site
- Offering input on material selection and project improvements when you spot something
- Sometimes mentoring junior team members or apprentices (it’s appreciated, trust us)
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Proven experience as a carpenter, preferably in the UAE or similar environments
- Ability to read and work from blueprints and technical drawings
- Solid understanding of carpentry methods, tools, and materials
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
- Good communication skills and a team-player attitude
- Willingness to work 8-hour shifts as per UAE labor policy
Nice-to-Haves:
- UAE driving license
- Experience with both residential and commercial projects
- Familiarity with health and safety standards on construction sites
