Step into a Craftsperson’s Role: Painter for Joinery Works
Ever taken a step back to admire a beautifully finished piece of woodwork and thought, “I did that”? If you know the satisfaction of transforming raw timber into a polished, gallery-worthy finish, this opportunity in Mussafah M10, Abu Dhabi, might be your next proud moment. We’re looking for skilled Painters who have a knack for bringing wooden joinery to life, using both artistry and precision. Here, your finishing touches won’t just be seen — they’ll be celebrated.
About the Company
Nestled in the heart of Abu Dhabi’s industrial hub, our workshop blends traditional woodworking with modern techniques. We’re a close-knit crew — you’ll hear friendly banter bouncing between sanding tables and spot folks sharing tricks of the trade over strong Emirati coffee. Every project is a collaboration, from bespoke wardrobes to statement doors, and Friday wrap-ups usually turn into mini-masterclasses as teammates show off their latest handiwork. With ongoing growth and steady demand, we’re building more than just furniture — we’re building careers.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Preparing a wide range of wooden items — from elegant doors to intricate wardrobes — for finishing, including sanding and priming with care.
- Mixing colors and blending stains for custom, high-end finishes that are as smooth to the touch as they are pleasing to the eye.
- Applying PU (polyurethane) painting, lacquer, and stain finishes using professional-grade spray booths and tools.
- Achieving flawless, even coats by spraying, brushing, or hand-rubbing (depending on the piece and desired outcome).
- Fine-tuning every detail to meet client specifications and maintain our signature quality standards.
- Collaborating with joiners and fellow craftspeople to ensure each project is finished on-time and to perfection.
- Maintaining equipment and a tidy workspace — because a clean booth leads to the best results.
What You’ll Bring
- Must-Haves:
- Proven experience in professional wood polishing and PU painting, with a hands-on approach.
- Skill in stain and lacquer application for premium, durable finishes.
- Confidence prepping, sanding, and spray-finishing diverse joinery pieces.
- A good eye for color mixing and the subtle art of achieving consistent, matching finishes.
- Familiarity with spray booths and finishing tools — you know your way around equipment maintenance and safety.
- Nice-to-Haves:
- Previous work on luxury furniture or custom decorative joinery.
- Willingness to share craftsmanship tips, or even pick up a few new ones.
- Comfortable working with a multicultural, dynamic team.
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
