What You’ll Be Doing
- Building and installing formwork and shuttering as per project drawings and site specifications.
- Executing finishing carpentry—think doors, trims, panelling—that stand up to both scrutiny and the elements.
- Following foreman and engineer instructions to ensure structures are straight, level, and up to code.
- Regularly checking your work for accuracy, stability, and clean finishes.
- Taking responsibility for your own safety, and encouraging those around you to do the same.
- Coordinating with fellow carpenters, masons, and site supervisors for smooth workflow and timely project completion.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Demonstrated experience as a Carpenter in a construction site setting (formwork, shuttering, finishing).
- Ability to work confidently from drawings and instructions.
- Strong teamwork skills, but also comfortable working solo when needed.
- Physically fit and capable of performing demanding onsite tasks.
- Indian nationality preferred, as per current hiring needs.
