What You’ll Be Doing
- Taking the lead on civil engineering projects, from blueprint to final inspection, ensuring work meets both client expectations and quality standards
- Collaborating closely with foremen and field teams, providing technical guidance and daily supervision (and troubleshooting when real-world surprises crop up)
- Drafting and reviewing detailed project drawings and layouts using AutoCAD — clarity and precision will be your trademarks
- Preparing, analyzing, and working with Statements of Requirements (SOR) for project planning and reporting
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations at project sites, keeping an eye on timelines, resources, and safety protocols
- Coordinating with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to guarantee seamless communication and on-time delivery
- Using Microsoft Office tools to create reports, schedules, and updates that keep everyone informed — even after the dust settles
What You’ll Bring
- At least 3 years’ experience in a contracting or general maintenance environment
- Confident proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Strong command of AutoCAD for project planning and site execution
- Experience working with SOR documentation and requirements
