Salary: Negotiable

About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Ever looked at a city’s skyline (or maybe a perfectly-paved road) and thought, “I want my work to be part of that?” If you’re a Civil Engineer who loves both the challenge and satisfaction of real, tangible results, this could be a perfect match. Here, your knack for precision won’t go unnoticed—and your passion for translating plans into lasting structures will really make an impact. We’re searching for someone with an eye for detail and a practical mindset to join our team in planning, designing, and overseeing a wide variety of construction and infrastructure projects.

About the Company

We’re a mid-sized firm with big-city energy and a close-knit, hands-on team. Our roots are local, but our projects shape communities across the region—think bridges, roads, parks, and the infrastructure that keeps daily life moving. Getting it right matters to us, but so does getting it done together: you’ll collaborate with colleagues who genuinely care, whether that’s during a site walk-through or our (surprisingly competitive) lunch-and-learn trivia sessions. Growth? We’re in the middle of it, and believe everyone should have a hand in building what’s next.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Overseeing all phases of civil engineering projects, from early-stage planning right through to final inspection
  • Preparing and reviewing technical drawings, specifications, and construction documents—spotting issues before they become headaches
  • Coordinating with contractors, architects, and local authorities to keep projects on track and within compliance
  • Ensuring that work at the job site meets safety standards and engineering best practices
  • Finding solutions on the fly and troubleshooting when challenges crop up (as they always do in construction)
  • Monitoring project budgets and timelines—without losing sight of quality or safety
  • Providing engineering input during meetings, site visits, and client presentations
  • Supporting and mentoring junior engineers as our projects (and our people) grow

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Proven experience designing and supervising infrastructure or construction projects
  • Attention to detail when reviewing plans, specs, and work onsite
  • Familiarity with CAD software and commonly-used technical tools
  • Strong communication skills—written, spoken, and even a bit of drawing-on-the-back-of-a-napkin
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines comfortably
  • A collaborative mindset with a desire to build great things, together

Nice-to-Haves

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or working towards it
  • Project management experience
  • Familiarity with sustainable/green infrastructure practices
  • Comfort interfacing directly with clients or public stakeholders

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Flexible hybrid work policy, with the autonomy to manage your own schedule
  • Competitive salary plus performance-based bonuses
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Generous paid time off—including extra days for volunteering
  • Professional development budget and clear pathways for advancement
  • Regular team outings (think site visits, happy hours, and our annual BBQ cook-off)
  • A collaborative, low-ego culture that values both new ideas and practical solutions

You’ll find room to grow here—and the support to help you build a career you’re proud of. Bring your skills, your curiosity, and your ambition. Let’s create something lasting.

Market-Based Salary Overview and Analysis

For a mid-level Civil Engineer role like this in the UAE, you should expect a monthly salary of at least 10,000–15,000 AED, depending on your experience and specific skill set. Similar positions with project oversight responsibilities and relevant qualifications in established firms typically offer compensation within this range, often with additional benefits such as performance bonuses and health insurance.
