About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever looked at a city’s skyline (or maybe a perfectly-paved road) and thought, “I want my work to be part of that?” If you’re a Civil Engineer who loves both the challenge and satisfaction of real, tangible results, this could be a perfect match. Here, your knack for precision won’t go unnoticed—and your passion for translating plans into lasting structures will really make an impact. We’re searching for someone with an eye for detail and a practical mindset to join our team in planning, designing, and overseeing a wide variety of construction and infrastructure projects.
About the Company
We’re a mid-sized firm with big-city energy and a close-knit, hands-on team. Our roots are local, but our projects shape communities across the region—think bridges, roads, parks, and the infrastructure that keeps daily life moving. Getting it right matters to us, but so does getting it done together: you’ll collaborate with colleagues who genuinely care, whether that’s during a site walk-through or our (surprisingly competitive) lunch-and-learn trivia sessions. Growth? We’re in the middle of it, and believe everyone should have a hand in building what’s next.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Overseeing all phases of civil engineering projects, from early-stage planning right through to final inspection
- Preparing and reviewing technical drawings, specifications, and construction documents—spotting issues before they become headaches

- Ensuring that work at the job site meets safety standards and engineering best practices
- Finding solutions on the fly and troubleshooting when challenges crop up (as they always do in construction)
- Monitoring project budgets and timelines—without losing sight of quality or safety
- Providing engineering input during meetings, site visits, and client presentations
- Supporting and mentoring junior engineers as our projects (and our people) grow
