About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever wondered what it’s like to see your work become part of Dubai’s iconic skyline? We’re searching for a skilled Civil Engineer with Dubai Municipality (DM) G4 approval to help transform ambitious blueprints into buildings that matter. If you thrive on site supervision, love navigating local regulations, and want to play a pivotal role in projects that shape Dubai’s growth, this might be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for.
About the Company
We're a Dubai-based construction firm that believes every project is a story — one where quality, efficiency, and safety aren't just buzzwords, but daily practice. Our team operates with a blend of precision and camaraderie: technical drawings get passed around over strong cups of coffee, and Friday lunch breaks often turn into impromptu brainstorming sessions. We’re expanding rapidly and looking for someone eager to make a tangible impact, not just check boxes or clock hours.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Overseeing on-site construction activities for G4-level projects, ensuring adherence to DM regulations and project specifications.
- Coordinating with architects, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to keep workflow smooth (and headaches to a minimum).
- Reviewing and approving construction drawings, material submissions, and method statements for compliance.
- Conducting regular site inspections: flagging issues before they escalate and keeping a cool head when surprises arise.
- Preparing and maintaining project documentation for DM inspections and approvals.
- Managing progress reports, resource allocation, and tight project milestones — missing a deadline isn’t your style.
- Acting as the key liaison with Dubai Municipality engineers during site visits, confidently addressing their technical questions.
- Mentoring junior engineers and site supervisors, sharing both knowledge and a bit of your hard-earned practical wisdom.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Valid Dubai Municipality G4 Civil Engineer approval (please, this is essential).
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience in building construction projects in the UAE.
- In-depth knowledge of Dubai Municipality standards, documentation, and site procedures.
- Strong project management, leadership, and communication skills — your team trusts your judgment.
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a cross-functional team.
Nice-to-Haves:
- UAE driving license.
- Fluency in Arabic (definitely a bonus, but not a deal-breaker).
- Experience with digital project management tools.
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive market-aligned salary, reviewed annually.
- Flexible, supportive team where mutual respect and work-life balance aren’t just slogans.
- Opportunity to work on landmark projects across Dubai — your work will be visible (sometimes literally) for years to come.
- Regular team lunches, and a culture that values sharing knowledge (and a good joke).
- Room for professional growth — we promote from within whenever we can.
- Support with ongoing training and Dubai Municipality renewals.
You’ll join a group of professionals who value doing the job right, learning as we go, and celebrating every project milestone together. If you’re looking for a place where your expertise is respected and your next career move actually feels like a step up, you might have found your new team.
