About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever wondered what it’s like to have a real hand in shaping Dubai’s ever-evolving skyline? As a Civil Engineer with us, you won’t just be ticking boxes—you’ll be steering projects that matter, right from the bustling heart of Al Qusais. We’re looking for someone ready to hit the ground running, who thrives under the unique pace and scope of Dubai’s construction environment.
About the Company
At our construction contracting firm, we believe that building isn’t just about concrete and steel—it’s about collaboration, innovation, and pride in a job well done. We’re a tight-knit team based in Second Al Qusais, known for rolling up our sleeves and getting things done, but also for sharing a laugh over chai in the break room. Our projects are diverse, our ambitions are high, and when we say “team effort,” we mean it—from the site managers to the office crew, everyone’s input is valued.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Overseeing day-to-day site operations and ensuring deadlines are met, without cutting corners on quality.
- Coordinating with architects, consultants, subcontractors, and clients to keep everyone on the same page (and the project moving forward).
- Managing documentation and compliance, making sure all work aligns with Dubai Land Municipality standards and approvals.
- Proactively identifying and solving on-site challenges—because there’s always at least one surprise, right?
- Leading and motivating site teams, ensuring safety, efficiency, and a positive work environment.
- Preparing regular progress reports and communicating updates to management and stakeholders.
- Supporting the team during a two-week paid trial period to showcase your skills and fit.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- At least 3 years of hands-on civil engineering experience in the UAE construction sector.
- Current approval from Dubai Land Municipality (first category, ready to work).
- Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Confident communicator, comfortable liaising with everyone from laborers to clients.
- Practical problem-solving mindset and a knack for quick, effective decisions.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Familiarity with the intricacies of Al Qusais construction regulations and networks.
- Experience with fast-track or high-profile projects in Dubai.
- Fluency in additional languages (Arabic, Hindi, or Urdu a bonus).
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive salary, with a paid two-week trial so both sides can feel confident moving forward.
- Close-knit team environment—collaboration is our default mode.
- Exposure to diverse, high-impact projects that will stretch your abilities and grow your career.
- Office and site both conveniently located in Al Qusais, with easy access to transit and amenities.
- Supportive management that values initiative, new ideas, and professional development.
- A workplace where your contributions are noticed—and celebrated.
We know construction in Dubai moves fast, but we also believe in building the right team for the long haul. If you’re ready to bring your experience and drive to a company that values both, let’s talk.
