About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Introduction
Ever found yourself energized by the buzz of a construction site, orchestrating the action so everything runs like clockwork? If your answer is yes, you might be the Civil Foreman we’re looking for in Al Riyadh, Abu Dhabi. This isn’t just any supervisory role — you’ll play a central part in delivering high-profile projects that are shaping the very landscape of the UAE. At a time when the industry is racing ahead, your ability to keep quality and safety at the forefront will truly set you apart.
About the Company
Think of us as one of Abu Dhabi’s cornerstone construction companies — a team that’s as passionate about building talent as we are about building skylines. We’re known for tackling ambitious projects and seeing them through with integrity, technical expertise, and a genuine camaraderie on site. Weekly team huddles, ironclad safety culture, and the occasional celebratory barbecue after a job well done? That’s just how we roll. If you thrive in environments that blend professionalism with real teamwork and respect, you’ll feel right at home here.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supervising daily civil works at the site, ensuring every task aligns with detailed drawings and precise specifications
- Overseeing and guiding site workers, making sure manpower is used efficiently and everyone knows exactly what needs doing
- Managing on-site materials and equipment, preventing delays and keeping things organized (because yes, lost tools really do put a damper on momentum)
- Acting as a key point of contact — liaising with engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to keep the lines of communication wide open
- Enforcing safety protocols and making sure everyone is following the best practices, because nothing matters more than going home safe at the end of the day
- Monitoring work progress and updating the Project Engineer or Manager with clear, honest reports — the good, the bad, and the needs-attention-now
What You’ll Bring
- Solid hands-on experience (ideally 5+ years) in a civil construction supervisory or foreman role
- Sharp understanding of civil drawings, specs, and the ability to pick up on details others might miss
- Strong leadership skills — you’ll motivate the crew with equal parts direction and support
- Practical expertise in managing labor, scheduling work sequences, and preventing bottlenecks
- Commitment to workplace safety — you “walk the talk” on every shift
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with large-scale or infrastructure projects in the UAE or GCC
- Technical diploma or certification in civil engineering/construction fields
- Comfortable working with basic project management tech/tools
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive, timely salary with performance recognition
- Company-provided accommodation and transport (no daily commute headaches)
- A safety-first mindset — real resources and regular trainings, not just slogans
- Opportunity to take real ownership of your section and leave your mark on landmark projects
- Supportive leadership and colleagues — here, seasoned veterans mentor newcomers, and everyone looks out for each other
- Steady pipeline of projects means stability and potential for advancement for those who bring their best
We know it’s the people — not just the blueprints — that make projects succeed. If you like to build, lead, and grow with a team that takes care of each other, you’ll fit right in.
