What You’ll Be Doing
- Supervising and guiding teams for all interior and finishing works — from painting and plastering to carpentry, waterproofing, masonry, and tile installation.
- Coordinating daily site activities, making sure each trade works in sync to meet project milestones.
- Inspecting workmanship meticulously and troubleshooting on-the-spot — you’re the go-to for quick fixes and proactive prevention.
- Liaising with project engineers and subcontractors; you’ll keep lines of communication open and updates timely.
- Enforcing strict safety standards to ensure every crew member heads home safe and sound.
- Reading and interpreting drawings, then translating those specs into actionable tasks for your team.
- Keeping tools, materials, and manpower organized — a jobsite doesn’t run itself, but with you around, it might just seem that way.
- Reporting progress (and the occasional snag) to the site manager — transparency is part of your DNA.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- 2–4 years of civil or fitout foreman experience, ideally with projects in the UAE.
- Proven ability to supervise skilled trades — your team looks up to you, literally and figuratively.
- Solid understanding of fitout works including painting, plastering, carpentry, waterproofing, masonry, and tile installation.
- Ability to read drawings and execute them faithfully on-site.
- Familiarity with UAE safety protocols and construction best practices.
- Strong communication skills in English (other languages a plus).
- A knack for quick problem-solving and juggling priorities when timelines get tight.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Prior experience with high-end or fast-track fitout projects.
