About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever walked past a building and noticed how the cladding lines up perfectly, or how a wooden finish looks like it grew there naturally? That kind of work doesn't happen by accident—it's the mark of skilled hands. We're looking for cladding and carpentry craftsmen who take pride in that level of detail. If you're ready to bring your tools and your talent to Dubai, this could be your next chapter.
About the Company
Al-Ahram Al-Thalatha Technical Services Company is a Dubai-based outfit with its headquarters in Al Quoz—the kind of place where the workshop hums early and the coffee is strong. We specialize in cladding, wooden decoration, and finishing works, and we've built our reputation on precision rather than shortcuts. The team is hands-on, no-nonsense, and genuinely invested in doing the job right the first time. If you value craftsmanship over corner-cutting, you'll fit right in.
What You'll Be Doing
- Install exterior cladding with clean lines, proper alignment, and weather-tight finishes
- Craft and fit wooden decorative elements—from paneling to custom trim—that match design specs exactly
- Handle finishing works with an eye for detail: sanding, sealing, and final touches that make the difference
- Read and interpret technical drawings and work orders (or follow site instructions when plans change on the fly)
- Coordinate with other trades on site to keep the workflow smooth and the timeline on track
- Maintain tools and materials responsibly, because good work starts with good equipment
What You'll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Proven practical experience in cladding, carpentry, or finishing works—ideally on similar commercial or residential projects
- Precision in execution: straight lines, tight joints, and finishes that hold up to close inspection
- Punctuality and seriousness—site schedules are tight, and reliability matters
- Readiness to start immediately and work in Dubai
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with a range of cladding materials (aluminum, composite, stone, etc.)
- Ability to work independently or lead a small crew when needed
- Basic English or Arabic for site communication (though a good attitude goes a long way)
Not sure you tick every box? We'd still love to hear from you—skills can be sharpened, but a solid work ethic is harder to teach.
Why You'll Love Working Here
- Accommodation and transportation provided—no scrambling for a place to stay or a ride to site
- Salary determined at the start of work, with clear terms so you know exactly what you're earning
- Steady pipeline of projects in Dubai's active construction and renovation scene
- A team that respects good work—your craftsmanship won't go unnoticed
- Al Quoz headquarters means you're plugged into a central, well-connected base
We're not promising glamour—we're promising honest work, fair treatment, and a crew that has your back. For the right craftsman, that's worth more than a flashy job ad.
Common Interview Questions and Tips
To help you prepare and feel confident, here are some questions you might encounter during the interview process for this role.
- Walk me through how you approach a cladding installation from the first measurement to the final weather-sealing—what are the steps you never skip?
- Tell me about a time a site drawing didn't match what you found on the wall. What did you do, and how did it turn out?
- How do you decide whether a joint or seam is tight enough to pass close inspection? Is there a test or habit you rely on?
- Describe your experience with different cladding materials—aluminum, composite, stone, wood. Which ones are you most comfortable with, and which would you need time to get up to speed on?
- When you're fitting custom wooden trim or paneling, how do you handle curves, corners, and transitions so the finish looks like it grew there naturally?
- What's your routine for maintaining your tools and keeping materials organized on a busy site?
- Tell me about a project where the timeline was tight and other trades were working around you. How did you keep your work moving without cutting corners?
- Have you ever had to lead a small crew or work without supervision? What did that look like day to day?
- Describe a time you caught a mistake in your own work before anyone else did. What did you do about it?
- Site plans change on the fly—how do you handle being told to adjust mid-installation without losing quality?
- What does "doing the job right the first time" mean to you in practice? Can you give an example from your own work?
- This role starts immediately in Dubai, with accommodation and transport provided. What's your availability, and what questions do you have about relocating or settling in?
- Our workshop starts early and the pace is steady. How do you feel about that kind of routine, and what keeps you motivated on long project days?
