About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Build Something That Lasts — With a Team That Actually Cares
Ever walked past a finished project and felt that quiet sense of pride — knowing you helped shape it from the ground up? That's the feeling we're chasing, and we're looking for a Site Supervisor/Foreman to help us get there on every job. This isn't a desk job or a "watch from a distance" role — it's for someone who'd rather be on-site, sleeves rolled up, keeping things moving. If you take pride in workmanship and know how to get the best out of a crew, keep reading.
About Us
We're a projects team based out of Ajman Free Zone (Building C1), and we've built our reputation the old-fashioned way: by showing up, doing the work right, and treating our people like people. We're not a massive corporation where you're just a badge number — we're a close-knit operation where the person running the site actually knows everyone's name. Things move fast around here, and yes, sometimes plans change mid-morning. But that's construction, and we'd rather solve problems together than point fingers. If you thrive in that kind of environment, you'll fit right in.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supervise day-to-day project activities on-site, keeping a close eye on progress, safety, and the little details that separate good work from great work.
- Organize and assign tasks to workers so everyone knows what they're doing and why it matters — no confusion, no wasted hours.
- Check quality as work happens, not just at the end. If something's off, catch it early and guide the fix.
- Visit project sites regularly as required, whether that's a quick check-in or a full day of hands-on oversight.
- Take accurate site measurements and make sure the numbers on paper match what's actually happening on the ground.
- Step in and coordinate when schedules shift, materials are delayed, or a curveball lands — because they will.
What You'll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Solid hands-on experience supervising construction or fit-out projects (we care more about what you've actually built than what's on a certificate).
- The ability to lead a crew fairly — firm when needed, respectful always.
- A sharp eye for quality and an instinct for spotting problems before they grow.
- Comfort with taking measurements and reading site conditions accurately.
- Willingness to be on-site and get involved, not just direct from the sidelines.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Familiarity with projects in the Ajman/Sharjah area.
- Any relevant safety or trade certifications.
Not sure you tick every box? We'd still love to hear from you — sometimes the right person doesn't match the checklist perfectly, and that's okay.
Why You'll Love Working Here
- A real team, not a hierarchy. Your input matters, and good ideas get heard regardless of job title.
- Steady project pipeline — we stay busy, which means your work stays consistent.
- Location that's easy to reach — based in Ajman Free Zone, Building C1.
- Room to grow — prove yourself on-site and there's a path forward with us.
- No corporate red tape — decisions get made quickly, and you'll have the support to do your job well.
At the end of the day, we're looking for someone who takes ownership — someone who treats each project like it has their name on it. If that sounds like you, we'd genuinely like to talk.
Common Interview Questions and Tips
To help you prepare and feel confident, here are some questions you might encounter during the interview process for this role.
- Walk us through a construction or fit-out project you supervised from start to finish. What was your role day-to-day, and what did the finished result look like?
- How do you typically organize and assign tasks to your crew each morning? Do you have a system, or does it change depending on the job?
- Quality checks are a big part of this role — catching issues as work happens rather than at the end. Can you give an example of a time you spotted a problem early and how you handled it?
- What's your process for taking site measurements and making sure they match the drawings or specs? Have you ever caught a discrepancy that could have caused a bigger issue?
- Tell us about a time a project got thrown off course — delayed materials, a schedule shift, a last-minute change. How did you keep things moving?
- Safety on-site is non-negotiable. How do you keep your crew disciplined about it without it turning into constant nagging?
- Describe a situation where a worker wasn't meeting your quality or pace expectations. How did you address it, and what was the outcome?
- You're managing a crew and a deadline, and your supervisor asks you to speed things up — but you know rushing will hurt the work. What do you do?
- Have you worked on projects in the Ajman or Sharjah area before? What's your familiarity with local suppliers, regulations, or site conditions there?
- This role is hands-on — you're on-site, not directing from a distance. What does "getting involved" actually look like for you on a typical day?
- We're a close-knit team with no corporate red tape, but that means things move fast and plans can change. How do you handle that kind of environment?
- What's something you've built or supervised that you're genuinely proud of? Why does that one stick with you?
