About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Introduction

Curious about what it takes to see a project truly come to life — not just on paper, but right there in the concrete and steel of a bustling worksite? As our next Construction Foreman in Abu Dhabi (Al Salam Street), you won't just oversee timelines; you'll be at the very heart of keeping ambitious builds on track. We’re looking for someone who thrives on teamwork, prides themselves on keeping things moving smoothly, and enjoys seeing progress firsthand in a city renowned for its impressive skyline.

About the Company

Here at our contracting company, we've built our reputation (and quite a few landmarks!) on trust, precision, and a shared sense of pride in the projects we deliver. Our team values practical know-how and creative solutions as much as punctual coffee runs and the occasional after-work gathering. We’re growing steadily, carving our niche in Abu Dhabi’s vibrant construction scene — yet we’ve kept that small-team energy where ideas are heard and contributions genuinely matter. On Fridays, you’ll find the site buzzing with anticipation for the weekend, but never at the cost of a job well done.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Taking full field supervision responsibilities over every stage of project execution — from site prep to final touches.
  • Preparing clear, actionable progress reports that keep everyone in the loop, from project managers to clients.
  • Tracking and calculating project completion percentages, so milestones are hit right on schedule.
  • Maintaining a sharp focus on the project schedule without letting quality slip — and managing the inevitable surprises with a level head.
  • Coordinating seamless handovers, ensuring all aspects meet our strict engineering specifications before anyone signs off.
  • Overseeing and motivating site laborers, providing clear instructions, support, and the odd word of encouragement when the midday sun beats down.

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves:

  • Proven experience as a Construction Foreman or similar leadership role in the contracting industry.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Hands-on skills in preparing reports and monitoring project milestones.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication chops — you’ll juggle people, plans, and paperwork.
  • A proactive attitude towards on-site problem solving and decision making.
  • Commitment to quality, safety, and sticking to deadlines.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience working in Abu Dhabi or the wider UAE construction market.
  • Knowledge of local regulations and best practices.
  • Comfortable with digital tools for reporting and scheduling.

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Competitive salary, paid on time — always.
  • Stable, long-term projects (no wondering what’s next).
  • Supportive, practical team culture — everyone helps each other out.
  • Opportunities for skills development and future advancement within the company.
  • Leadership that values your input and likes to celebrate wins, large and small.
  • Central Abu Dhabi location: easy to reach, close to city life, and right on Al Salam Street.

We combine the steady reliability of an established firm with the camaraderie of a tight-knit team. If you’re ready to see your work take shape on the Abu Dhabi skyline, this could be a great fit for you.
