What You’ll Be Doing
- Overseeing daily operations on renovation sites and ensuring every detail aligns with Deco Wood’s high standards
- Coordinating and scheduling trades — think electrical, plumbing, painting, gypsum board — so projects move forward efficiently
- Working directly with team members in the field, offering guidance, troubleshooting issues, and stepping in as needed
- Inspecting work for quality at every stage and resolving any snags or roadblocks quickly
- Communicating project updates to both clients and management (a little diplomacy goes a long way)
- Monitoring safety compliance and maintaining a tidy, organized jobsite — because we believe safety and quality go hand in hand
- Keeping an eagle eye on materials usage and coordinating deliveries to avoid costly delays
- Mentoring junior staff, sharing practical know-how, and setting a great example with your work ethic
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a foreman or site supervisor, ideally within renovation or high-end fit-out projects
- Strong, practical knowledge of multiple trades — especially electrical, plumbing, painting, and gypsum board installation
- Hands-on leadership style: you don’t mind rolling up your sleeves when needed
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to juggle shifting priorities without losing your cool
- Clear, confident communicator (whether you’re talking to a client or your team)
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience working in Dubai or other GCC countries
- Working knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations in the UAE
