About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Ever walked onto a bustling construction site and wondered who’s quietly steering the organizational ship? That’s where you come in. We’re looking for a Construction Office Manager in Abu Dhabi—a linchpin role for someone who thrives on keeping complex processes running smoothly behind the scenes. If you’re ready to lend your experience to a dynamic team in one of the region’s most exciting markets, this might just be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for.

About the Company

We’re a mid-sized construction group with deep roots in the UAE—and an even deeper respect for teamwork and integrity. Our projects range from innovative commercial spaces to community-centered housing, and our culture runs on collaboration with just the right dash of competitive spirit (our annual “safety quiz-off” gets fiercer every year). Here, transparency and respect aren’t just corporate buzzwords; they shape the way we work and the stories we build—together. Lunchroom debates over building codes are just a bonus.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Coordinating office operations so both project managers and site engineers have what they need, when they need it
  • Overseeing and fine-tuning project documentation, from permits to progress reports, making sure details never slip through the cracks
  • Liaising with consultants, subcontractors, and government agencies—bridging gaps and keeping approvals on track
  • Leading the charge on compliance and regulatory requirements, especially during the pre- and post-construction phases
  • Streamlining internal communications so everyone, from clients to crew members, stays informed and aligned
  • Monitoring timelines and flagging any issues early—because you’d rather solve a small problem today than a huge one tomorrow
  • Mentoring junior office staff—you know their growth reflects your own leadership

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (or a related field)
  • At least 10 years of hands-on experience in UAE’s construction industry—local know-how is key
  • Strong project coordination skills (and a knack for multitasking in high-pressure environments)
  • Deep understanding of UAE construction procedures, documentation standards, and approval workflows
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English (Arabic is a bonus)
  • Proficiency with office and project management software

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with digital document control platforms like Aconex
  • A sharp eye for process optimization—you don’t just maintain workflows, you improve them
  • Familiarity with sustainability practices in modern construction

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

Why You’ll Love Working Here (Benefits & Perks)

  • Competitive salary package, reviewed annually
  • Private health insurance—for peace of mind you can take home
  • Flexible start/finish times (we value life outside the job site too)
  • Opportunities to lead on landmark projects shaping Abu Dhabi’s skyline
  • Supportive, stable team—many of us have been here for years, and we celebrate wins together
  • Continuous professional development—think workshops, courses, and site visits
  • Comfortable, collaborative office in a well-connected Abu Dhabi location (on-site parking for drivers)
  • Occasional lunch-and-learn sessions—because good food and good ideas go hand-in-hand

We know construction can be demanding, which is why we do our best to support each other—every project, every day. If you’re looking for a workplace where you’re trusted, valued, and inspired, this could be your next role.
